Ghana took part in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022.^[1] It was Ghana's seventeenth appearance at the Games.

Athletics

A squad of fourteen athletes was selected on 14 June 2022.^[3] Among those selected is 2014 Youth Olympic 800 metres champion Martha Bissah, who until recently was indefinitely banned from representing Ghana as punishment for accusing the GAA of extortion.^[4]

Latifa Ali is a Ghanaian track and field sprinter. She competed for Ghana at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

Theophilus Nii Kpakpo Allotey is a Ghanaian boxer. He started boxing at a very tender age and passed through the juvenile stage, Black Rocket before he was promoted to the senior level to be part of the Black Bombers.
