Guyana competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games at Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022. It was the nineteenth time that Guyana is represented at the Commonwealth Games. [1]
On 5 July 2022, a team of 32 athletes (18 men and 14 women) competing in six sports was announced. [2] Keevin Allicock and Aliyah Abrams were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony. [3]

Scotland were represented at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. They used Flower of Scotland as its victory anthem for these games; replacing Scotland the Brave which had been in use since the 1950s. The change was decided by the Scottish athletes in a vote.
England was represented at the 2010 Commonwealth Games by Commonwealth Games England. The country's abbreviation was ENG, they used the Cross of St George as its flag and "Jerusalem" as its victory anthem. It had previously used "Land of Hope and Glory" as its anthem at the Commonwealth Games, but decided to change following an "internet poll".
