H. C. Venugopal is an Indian cinematographer, who has worked in the Kannada and Tamil film industries.
H. C. Venugopal is a cinematographer who has predominantly worked for Kannada films. He has been active since the late 1990s, regularly collaborating for high-profile Kannada films including A (1998), Sparsha (1999), H2O (2002), Aa Dinagalu (2007), Jaggu Dada (2016) to name a few. [1] He was also involved in the shoot of the first 3D Kannada film Katari Veera Surasundarangi (2012) . [2]
In recent years, he has collaborated with Arjun Sarja for the bilingual films, Jaihind 2 (2014) and Prema Baraha (2018). [3] [4]
Venugopal married actress-politician Tara in 2005. They have a son named Shreekrishna (b. 2013) together. [5]

Srinivasa Sarja, better known by his stage name Arjun Sarja or simply Arjun, is an Indian actor, producer, and director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema in addition to Telugu and Kannada films and a few Malayalam and Hindi films. Referred to by the media and his fans as "Action King" for his roles in action films, Arjun has acted in more than 160 films, most of them being lead roles. He is one of few South Indian actors to attract fan following from multiple states of India. He has directed 12 films and also produced and distributed a number of films.
Mahalakshmi Menon, best known by her stagename Shobha, was an Indian actress best known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films. At the age of 17, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1979 Tamil film Pasi. She also received three Kerala State Film Awards: for Best Actress (1978), Best Supporting Actress (1977) and Best Child Artist (1971); and two Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress in Kannada (1978) and Tamil (1979) films. Considered one of the finest talents to have emerged in the Indian film world, her promising career was unexpectedly cut short as she committed suicide in 1980, due to unknown reasons. Her popularity resulted in considerable public scrutiny of the events that led to her death and also various conspiracy theories. The 1983 Malayalam film Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback is supposedly based on her life and death.

Singaporenalli Raja Kulla is a 1978 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by Dwarakish. The film stars Vishnuvardhan and Dwarkish, alongside Manjula, Felina, Lokanath, Uma Shivakumar, Shakti Prasad and Thoogudeepa Srinivas. The music was composed by Rajan–Nagendra, while cinematography and editing were handled by D. V. Rajaram and Yadav Victor.
Attahasa (transl. Defiance) is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language biographical film directed by A. M. R. Ramesh, based on the notorious forest brigand Veerappan. Kishore plays the role of Veerappan in the film, whilst featuring Arjun Sarja and Suresh Oberoi. After much delay in the theatrical release the film was opened to screens on 14 February 2013 all across the southern states of India to positive reviews. The film was partially reshot in Tamil as Vana Yuddham. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Veerappan.
Prema Ishq Kaadhal is a 2013 Telugu anthology romantic comedy film directed by Pavan Sadineni. The film was produced by Bekkam Venugopal of Lucky Media. The film stars Harshvardhan Rane, Sree Vishnu, Harish Verma, Vithika Sheru, Ritu Varma, and Sreemukhi. The music was composed by Shravan Bharadwaj with cinematography was handled by Karthik Gattamneni and editing by Gowtham Nerusu. The film released on 6 December 2013.
Jaihind 2 is a 2014 Indian action drama film written, produced and directed by Arjun Sarja, who also stars in the lead role. It is the sequel of his previous film Jai Hind, and was simultaneously made in Telugu and Kannada with the latter titled as Abhimanyu.
Premagni is a 1989 Indian Kannada-language film directed by T. S. Nagabharana and produced by V. Varghees. The film stars Arjun Sarja, Khushbu, Sundar Krishna Urs and Shashikumar in the lead roles. The film has a musical score by Hamsalekha. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Thennattu Venghai.
Prathap is a 1990 Indian Kannada-language action film written and directed by V. Somashekhar. It stars Arjun Sarja, Malashri and Sudharani. The soundtrack and background score were composed by Hamsalekha.
Prema Baraha, titled Sollividava in Tamil, is a 2018 Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Arjun Sarja. It was produced by his wife Niveditha Arjun under his home studio of Sree Raam Films International and made simultaneously in Kannada and Tamil languages. The film stars Chandan Kumar and Aishwarya Arjun with different ensemble casts for the two versions. Jassie Gift composed the soundtrack and score. H. C. Venugopal was the director of photography and Kay Kay edited the film. The two versions of the film were released worldwide on 9 February 2018. It had a grand opening and became a commercial success at the box office of Karnataka, but had a decent run in Tamil.

Rajashekar's Kannada Movie Ratha Sapthami (1986) under the stagename of Asha Rani, she opted against an acting career and continued pursuing her passion as a dancer and also worked as a producer with Sree Raam Films International. The daughter of actor Rajesh, Niveditha is married to actor Arjun Sarja and is the mother of actress Aishwarya Arjun.

After starring in numerous Kannada films with minor roles, he starred in his first movie as an independent actor in Male Bantu Male. In 1984, Sarja made his Tamil debut in Rama Narayanan's film Nandri. During the subsequent years he acted in many Telugu and Kannada films portraying lead and supporting roles in Trimurtulu (1987), Premagni (1989), Prathap (1990) and Shivanaga (1992).
