Hungama (transl. Ruckus) is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Venus Records & Tapes. The film stars Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Aftab Shivdasani and Rimi Sen, while Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania and Shoma Anand play supporting roles. It is a remake of Priyadarshan's own 1984 Malayalam film Poochakkoru Mookkuthi which itself was based on the 1980 Telugu movie Gopal Rao Gari Ammayi.
Darshan Thoogudeepa known mononymously as Darshan is an Indian actor, producer, and distributor who works predominantly in Kannada films. One of the leading contemporary actors of Kannada cinema, Darshan established the production house Thoogudeepa Productions in 2006. Its first production was Jothe Jotheyali, with Darshan in a special appearance. His performances in Anatharu (2007) and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna (2012) won him praise from critics; his performance in the latter as the 19th-century warrior Sangolli Rayanna won him the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor.
Pranitha Subhash is an Indian actress who appears in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam films. She debuted as an actress in the 2010 Kannada film, Porki. In 2012, she starred in the critically acclaimed film Bheema Theeradalli. She went on to appear in several commercially successful Telugu and Tamil films like Baava (2010), Attarintiki Daredi (2013), Massu Engira Masilamani (2015), and Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal (2017).

Porki is a 2010 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by M. D. Sridhar, starring Darshan, Pranitha Subhash and Ashish Vidyarthi in the lead roles. It is a remake of the 2006 Telugu film Pokiri. Ashish Vidyarthi, who played the role of sub-inspector in the original, played the role of the main villain in the Kannada remake.
Brahma is a 2014 Indian Kannada historical action drama film written and directed by R. Chandru, and produced by Manjunath Babu. The film was dubbed into Telugu. The film stars Upendra playing dual roles though both the roles never appear together onscreen. It also stars Pranitha Subhash and Sara Sharma, while actors Nassar, Rahul Dev, and Shayaji Shinde play other prominent roles. The film spanning four generations, from the 16th to the 21st century features an original soundtrack album by Gurukiran.

Kendasampige is a 2015 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film directed by Duniya Soori from a story written by Surendranath and produced by Parimala Film Factory. The film stars Vikky Varun and Manvita Kamath, Rajesh Nataranga, Prakash Belawadi and Chandrika. The film is the sequel to forthcoming film Kaage Bangara and also exposes the nexus between the latter and influential persons. V. Harikrishna composed the soundtrack and background score, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Satya Hegde and Deepu. S. Kumar.
Chakravarthy (transl. Emperor) is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language action crime film directed by Chintan A V, a former screenwriter, making his debut. The film stars Darshan and Deepa Sannidhi besides Kumar Bangarappa, Aditya and Srujan Lokesh playing key supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Arjun Janya whilst the cinematography is by Chandrashekar K S and editing by K. M. Prakash.
Mass Leader is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film written and directed by Narasimha, and produced jointly by Tarun Shivappa and Hardik Gowda. It features Shiva Rajkumar, Pranitha Subhash and Vamsi Krishna in the lead roles whilst Vijay Raghavendra, Yogesh, Gururaj Jaggesh, Sharmiela Mandre, Ashika Ranganath and Parinitha Kitty in key supporting roles. The soundtrack and score for the film is composed by Veer Samarth and the cinematography is by Guru Prashant Rai.

Nimbehuli is a 2014 Kannada language comedy film written and directed by Hemanth Hegde and produced by veteran director Subhash Ghai. latters marked a maiden Kannada venture. After success of director's first venture Housefull collaborate with Subhash Ghai's production house Mukta Arts for new project. The makers of the 2015 Hindi movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon were sent legal notice for plagiarism. Initially Anupam Kher signed to the project for pivot role but later walked out of the movie.
