    HD 38801 b is an extrasolar gas giant planet located in the constellation of Orion [3] whose discovery was announced in 2009 and was made using the radial velocity method. [4] The object, with a mass roughly 12 times that of Jupiter, [4] is located 324 light years (99.4 parsecs) from Earth [5] [6] orbiting 1.65 astronomical units from its G-type star, HD 38801. [4] [7] HD 38801 b, besides being the only planet in its system [5] also lies within the inner habitable zone [6] and takes around 1.9 years, or 693.5 days to complete a full orbit. [4]

    HD 38801 b is characterized by its uniquely low eccentricity values, or having a near circular orbit. As a super massive planet with an orbital period of hundreds of days, this occurrence is quite uncommon. [1]

    HD 185269 b is a hot Jupiter extrasolar planet approximately 170 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus. The minimum mass is slightly less than Jupiter and the orbital period is about one week. Most hot Jupiters are thought to have undergone tidal circularization, making the eccentricity of HD 185269 b (e=0.3) unusual. Despite having a large transit probability, none have yet been detected by various photometric monitoring campaigns.

    HD 40307 d is an extrasolar planet orbiting the star HD 40307, located 42 light-years from Earth in the direction of the southern constellation Pictor. The planet was discovered by the radial velocity method, using the HARPS apparatus in June 2008. It is the most massive of the six proposed planets in the system. The planet is of interest as this star has relatively low metallicity, supporting a hypothesis that different metallicities in protostars determine what kind of planets they will form.

    HD 96167 b is a confirmed extrasolar planet located approximately 280 light years away in the constellation of Crater, orbiting the 8th magnitude G-type subgiant HD 96167. It is a Jupiter-type planet with an extremely elliptical orbit, coming as close as 0.4 AU to its star, and as much as 2.2 AU out. Thus, in the inner orbit the planet is as close to the star as Mercury is to the Sun, yet in the outer orbit the planet mostly resides in the habitable zone. Its mass is that of 0.717 Jupiters, and an unknown radius, yet an approximation is that of 1.25 Jupiters. These values are not certain, as the planet has not been measured by a transit observation. The planet was discovered on April 17, 2009. Not to be confused with the exoplanet HD 96167 b, the HD 96167 B is a close by stellar companion.

    HD 73534 b is an extrasolar planet which orbits the G-type subgiant star HD 73534, located approximately 272 light years away in the constellation Cancer. It is at least 15% more massive than Jupiter and orbits at an average distance of 3.15 AU and takes 4.9 years to complete the orbit in a nearly circular path with an eccentricity similar to Jupiter. This planet was detected by radial velocity method on August 12, 2009.

    HD 86226 b is a gas giant exoplanet discovered by the Magellan Planet Search Program in 2010. It was confirmed in data collected by the CORALIE spectrograph on the Swiss 1.2-metre Leonhard Euler Telescope in 2012. It takes about 4.6 years to orbit its G-type star and was initially believed to have a minimal mass of 0.92 Jupiters. Discovery of the second planet in the system has led to the revised mass of HD 86226 b in 2020, now estimated to be 0.45+0.04

    MJ.

    HD 212771 b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the G-type star HD 212771 approximately 364 light years away in the constellation Aquarius.

    HD 180902 b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the K-type star HD 180902 approximately 342 light years away in the constellation Sagittarius.

    HD 4313 b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the K-type star HD 4313 approximately 447 light years away in the constellation Pisces. This planet was discovered using the Doppler spectroscopy method.

    HD 27631 is a star with an orbiting exoplanet in the southern constellation of Horologium. It is too faint to be visible to the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of 8.24. The distance to this system is 164 light years based on parallax measurements. It is drifting further away with a radial velocity of 21 km/s.

    HD 3167 is a single, orange-hued star in the zodiac constellation of Pisces that hosts a system with three exoplanets. The star is too faint to be seen with the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of 8.97. The distance to HD 3167 can be determined from its annual parallax shift of 21.1363 mas as measured by the Gaia space observatory, yielding a range of 154 light years. It has a relatively high proper motion, traversing the celestial sphere at the rate of 0.204″ per year. Since it was first photographed during the Palomar observatory sky survey in 1953, it had moved over 12.5″ by 2017. The star is moving away from the Earth with an average heliocentric radial velocity of +19.5 km/s.

    HD 77338 is a star with a close orbiting exoplanet companion in the southern constellation of Pyxis. It is too dim to be visible with the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of 8.63. The system is located at a distance of 149 light years, and it is drifting further away with a heliocentric radial velocity of 8.2 km/s.
