List of minor planet discoverers

Last updated

This is a list of minor-planet discoverers credited by the Minor Planet Center with the discovery of one or several minor planets (such as near-Earth and main-belt asteroids, Jupiter trojans and distant objects). [1] As of November 2021, the discovery of 607,011 numbered minor planets are credited to 1135 astronomers and 253 observatories, telescopes or surveys (see § Discovering dedicated institutions).
