HMS Forester was a British Royal Navy 10-gun Cherokee-class brig-sloop ordered on 23 May 1826, laid down in September 1830, and launched on 28 August 1832 at Chatham Dockyard. On 14 February 1833, she ran aground on a reef off St Martin's, Isles of Scilly, with the loss of a crew member. She was later refloated and towed by the paddle sloop-of-war HMS Rhadamanthus to Plymouth, Devon, England, where she was paid off in ordinary. [1] [2] [3] [4] She was sold in 1843.
HMS Gorgon was a wooden steam paddle sloop of 6 guns, launched in 1837. In 1840 she took part in the bombardment of Acre, and in 1843 was part of the Royal Navy squadron stationed in the River Plate during the Uruguayan Civil War. She was converted to a troopship and in 1858 assisted Agamemnon in the laying of the first transatlantic telegraph cable. She was sold for breaking in 1864.
HMS Hyacinth was an 18-gun Royal Navy ship sloop. She was launched in 1829 and surveyed the north-eastern coast of Australia under Francis Price Blackwood during the mid-1830s. She took part in the First Opium War, destroying, with HMS Volage, 29 Chinese junks. She became a coal hulk at Portland in 1860 and was broken up in 1871.
HMS Dundee was a Shoreham-class sloop of the British Royal Navy. The ship was built at Chatham Dockyard, entering service in 1933.

She was sold again in 1926 to the Liverpool & Glasgow Salvage Association, renamed Restorer, and finally broken up in 1937, 54 years after her keel was laid.
