Haldaa is a 2017 Bangladeshi film directed by Tauquir Ahmed, based on the story written by Azad Bulbul. [2] The film's plot is based on the struggling life of the fishermen of Halda River located in Chittagong, the only natural fish breeding center in Asia. The film is narrated in local Chittagonian dialect, although the dialogues are simplified for the understanding of the general audience. [3] [4] [5] [6]

The music for the film was composed by Pintu Ghosh. The lyrics were written by Ramesh Shil, Tauquir Ahmed and Pintu Ghosh. [7]

The movie was released on 1 December 2017 in 81 theaters in Bangladesh. [2] [7] [8] The theatrical release poster was by Bipasha Hayat.

Operation Sundarbans or Operation Sundarban is a Bangladeshi wildlife action thriller movie. The film is co-written and directed by Dipankar Sengupta Dipon. The film is produced by RAB Welfare Cooperative Society Ltd. Nazim-ud-Doula and Dipon have written the screenplay. The plot is loosely based on real operations of RAB during surrender of robbers of Sundarbans as well as the struggle of Sundarbans' natives. It stars Riaz, Ziaul Roshan, Siam Ahmed, Taskeen Rahman, Shatabdi Wadud, Nusraat Faria and Darshana Banik, while Manoj Pramanik, debutant Samina Bashar, Dipu Imam, Ehsanur Rahman also joins the cast. Bishwoshundori is a 2020 Bangladeshi romantic drama film. It is director Chayanika Chowdhury's debut film. The film is written by Rumman Rashid Khan, and stars Siam Ahmed, Pori Moni, Champa, Fazlur Rahman Babu & Alamgir. The film is produced by Sun Music & Motion Pictures Limited and distributed by Jaaz Multimedia. Masranga Television is the broadcast partner & owns the TV rights. The soundtracks of the film are composed by Imran, Pritom Hasan, Kona, Farid Ahmed and Pintu Ghosh.
