Halfway Around the World is the second single from the album Teen Spirit by A-Teens. The single peaked at number seven in Sweden and earned a gold certification. [1]
The video premiered in March 2001 and it was directed by Mikadelica. It shows the A-Teens in different parts of the world (Peru, Paris, somewhere in the North, and China) and the action takes place in different seasons, but all of this ends up taking place on a set for a film shooting. There is also a love story between two staff members. The song tells the story of two people who are "halfway around the world," but that them being distanced from each other won't stop their love for each other.

The ABBA Generation is the debut studio album by Swedish pop group A-Teens. It was released on 25 August 1999 by Stockholm Records. The album is composed of cover versions of well-known ABBA songs. The album spawned four singles, "Mamma Mia", "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! ", "Super Trouper", and "Dancing Queen".
"Dancing in the Moonlight" is a song written by Sherman Kelly, originally recorded in 1970 by Kelly's band Boffalongo, and then a hit single by King Harvest in 1972, reaching number 5 in Canada and number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2000, a cover by English band Toploader became a worldwide hit and achieved multi-platinum status in the United Kingdom. A version by Swedish EDM duo Jubël, released in 2018, was a hit in Europe.
"Super Trouper" is a song by the Swedish pop group ABBA, and the title track from their 1980 studio album of the same name, written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. It was released in November 1980 as the album's third single. The song – with lead vocals by Anni-Frid Lyngstad – had the working title "Blinka Lilla Stjärna", and was the last track to be written and recorded for the album.
"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! " is a song by Swedish band ABBA. It was recorded in August 1979 in order to help promote their North American and European tour of that year, and was released on ABBA's Greatest Hits Vol. 2 album as the brand new track.
"Mambo!" is Helena Paparizou's fifth CD single and the first from her international album The Game of Love. There were two versions of the song; a Greek version and an English version. The Greek version was released in November 2005 in Greece and was a major hit going straight to number one for ten weeks including during Christmas. In total, the song charted for 23 weeks, leaving Helena with her most successful CD single to date. The single was released as a CD single and Sony BMG also re-released Helena's debut album Protereotita for a third time with her single under the name of Protereotita: Euro Edition + Mambo!.
"Gimme That" is a song written by Scott Storch and Sean Garrett and recorded by American singer Chris Brown for his eponymous debut album. The official remix, featuring American rapper Lil Wayne, was released as the third single from the album in April 2006 and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Worth Tx, and recorded by Channel in 1961, first released on LeCam Records, a local Fort Worth, Texas label. After it hit, it was released on Smash Records for national distribution. Channel co-produced the song with Major Bill Smith and released it on Mercury Records' Smash label. It reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks, starting the week ending March 10, 1962.
"Intergalactic" is a song by American hip hop group Beastie Boys. "Intergalactic" was released as the first single from their fifth studio album, Hello Nasty, on June 2, 1998. The single reached number 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making it the band's third top-40 single, and reached number five on the UK Singles Chart, where it remains the band's biggest hit. It received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1999.
"With Every Heartbeat" is a song by Swedish record producer Kleerup and Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn. It was first released on 10 January 2007 in Sweden and later on 30 July 2007 in the United Kingdom. Released in May 2000, the song is ATC's most successful single, reaching the top 20 in most countries where it was released.
Sugar Rush is the third single from the album Teen Spirit by A-Teens. "Sugar Rush" peaked at number 15 in Sweden and number 72 in Germany becoming the lowest chart positions for the A-Teens in both countries.
"This Is the World We Live In" is a song by Swedish band Alcazar. The song is the fifth single from their second album, Alcazarized (2003). It was released in June 2004 and became a hit, peaking at number three in Sweden, number one in Hungary, and reaching the top 20 in Flemish Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Norway and the United Kingdom. The song contains an interpolation of Diana Ross's "Upside Down", and the chorus is adapted from the Genesis song "Land of Confusion".
"Breathing Your Love" is a song by the Swedish singer Darin featuring vocals by American singer Kat DeLuna and the first single from Darin's fourth studio album, Flashback. The song is co-written by Darin with RedOne, Bilal Hajji and Novel was released to radio stations and as a digital download in Sweden on 8 October 2008. The single was released in Finland and is also the first single from Darin to be released in the United Kingdom, which it was in January 2010. In October 2009 Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang took 2 copies of the single into space with him, as his daughter is a Darin fan. A photo of the disc can be seen with earth in the distance on the official Darin website.
"Gimme Love" is a song by Italian singer Alexia, released in March 1998 as the lead single from her second album, The Party (1998). It reached number one in both Italy and Spain, and charted in the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart, where a complete set of remixes for the British market were issued. It is based on the 1977 song "Gimme Some" by Brendon. A music video was also produced to promote the single.
"The Music I Like" is a song by Italian singer Alexia, released in 1998 as the second single from her second album, The Party (1998). It is her sixth single overall and reached number one in Italy. A complete set of remixes for the UK market were issued which were later released in Italy.
