Halka Nasha is a popular Hindi ghazal album of the Indian singer and Ghazal composer Hariharan. It was released on 1996 [1] by Bayshore, and later re-released by the same label in 2004 for its popularity. The album consists of 8 songs composed by Utpal Biswas and sung by Hariharan. Hariharan's 3-year-old son Karan Hariharan faced the camera with him for popular track ‘Halka Nasha’ along with Dr Tinku Bali. [2] The album was also simultaneously released in Punjabi of the same name and in Tamil of Kadhal Vedham.

Hariharan (singer) Indian playback singer

Hariharan is an Indian playback, bhajan and ghazal singer from Trivandrum, whose songs have been featured mainly in Tamil and Hindi. Also he sang notable songs in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and Bhojpuri films. He is an established Ghazal singer and one of the pioneers of Indian fusion music. In 2004, he was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India and is a two-time National Award winner. He is regarded as one of the greatest Indian singers of all time.

Anil Biswas (composer)

Anil Krishna Biswas was an noted Indian film music director and playback singer from 1935 to 1965, who apart from being one of pioneers of playback singing, is also credited for the first Indian orchestra of twelve pieces and introducing orchestral music and full-blooded choral effects, into Indian cinema. A master in western symphonic music was known for the Indian classical or folk elements, especially Baul and Bhatiyali in his music. Out of his over 90 films, most memorable were, Roti (1942), Kismet (1943), Anokha Pyaar (1948), Taraana (1951), Waaris (1954), Pardesi (1957) and Char Dil Char Rahen (1959).

Lesle Lewis (composer)

Leslee Lewis is an Indian singer and composer known for his work with Hariharan as the duo Colonial Cousins. They won the MTV Asia Viewer's Choice Award and then the U.S. Billboard Viewer's Choice Award for 'Colonial Cousins', their debut album. He conceived and created all the music for Coke Studio, MTV India debut season.

Anmol Rattan is 1950 Bollywood drama film directed by M. Sadiq. The film was produced by Jaimani Dewan for his Dewan Productions banner, with music composed by Vinod. The film starred Karan Dewan, who was known as a "jubilee star" with most of his films becoming box-office successes. He was the younger brother of producer Jaimani Dewan. Colonial Cousins is an Indian duo, formed by singer Hariharan and singer-composer Lesle Lewis, who also have successful solo careers. Their eponymous first album hit platinum in sales in India alone and consistently headed the Indian music charts in 1996. The duo have received numerous awards, notably the MTV Asia Viewers' Choice Award, 1996, and the US Billboard's Viewers' Award, 1996. On 19 November 1998, the Colonial Cousins released their second album, The Way We Do It. They also released their third album Aatma on 1 January 2001. Sanjeev–Darshan is a film song composer duo in the Bollywood film industry of India. The duo derives its name from the first names of its two principals, Sanjeev Rathod and Darshan Rathod.
