Halsey Field House is a multi-purpose arena at the United States Naval Academy, in Annapolis, Maryland, with a seating capacity of 5,000. It was home to the Navy Midshipmen men's basketball team until the Alumni Hall opened in 1991. It is named after William Halsey Jr., a World War II United States Navy commander.
Currently it is the home of the indoor track and field teams. It contains a 200-meter synthetic track, squash and tennis courts, a 65 tatami dojo for Aikido/Judo, [1] and a climbing wall.
The North Wing has five basketball courts, five squash courts, dressing rooms, a conditioning room, classrooms for physical education, athletic-gear storage, and office space for instructors.
The weight room is one of three "strength and conditioning facilities" at the academy. [2] With 5,500 square feet (510 m2), it serves men's and women's basketball, men's and women's crew, men's and women's swimming, and squash. [3]
Some fights of the controversial 1977 United States Professional Boxing Championships Series took place at Halsey Field House on February 13, 1977, including bouts involving Scott LeDoux and Edwin Viruet. [4]
The United States Naval Academy is a federal service academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was established on 10 October 1845 during the tenure of George Bancroft as Secretary of the Navy. The Naval Academy is the second oldest of the five U.S. service academies and it educates midshipmen for service in the officer corps of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. It is part of the Naval University System. The 338-acre (137 ha) campus is located on the former grounds of Fort Severn at the confluence of the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay in Anne Arundel County, 33 miles (53 km) east of Washington, D.C., and 26 miles (42 km) southeast of Baltimore. Alumni Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Amherst, New York. The arena is home to the State University of New York at Buffalo men's and women's basketball teams, the women's volleyball team, and wrestling team. The facility has a capacity of 6,783 people for basketball games.
Alumni Hall is an indoor stadium at the United States Naval Academy, in Annapolis in the U.S. state of Maryland. Completed in 1991, it seats 5,710 and serves as the primary assembly hall for the Brigade of Midshipmen. It is used for athletic contests — including basketball and wrestling — and is home for the Naval Academy women's and men's basketball teams, members of the Patriot League. Additionally, it is adaptable for lectures, assemblies, theatrical productions, concerts and official ceremonies and is home for the Bob Hope Center for the Performing Arts. It has dining facilities where dinners and receptions are held. It also serves as an alternate location for Naval Academy graduation ceremonies when Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium cannot be used due to bad weather.
Fitzgerald Field House is a 4,122-seat multi-purpose athletic venue on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Fitzgerald Field House is named for Rufus Fitzgerald, a past chancellor (1945–1955) of the university. It is the primary home competition venue for the university's gymnastics, volleyball, and wrestling teams.
The Navy Midshipmen football team represents the United States Naval Academy in NCAA Division I FBS college football. The Naval Academy completed its final season as an FBS independent school in 2014, and became a single-sport member of the American Athletic Conference beginning in the 2015 season. The team is currently coached by Brian Newberry, who was promoted in 2022, following his stint as the Midshipmen defensive coordinator. Navy has 19 players and three coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame and won the college football national championship in 1926 according to the Boand and Houlgate poll systems. The 1910 team also was undefeated and unscored upon. The mascot is Bill the Goat.

Navy competes as a member of the Patriot League. It used to play its home games at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, but now plays them at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.

The Presbyterian Blue Hose are the athletic teams of Presbyterian College, located in Clinton, South Carolina, United States. The Blue Hose athletic program is a member of the Big South Conference and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The PC Athletic Department fields a total of 19 varsity teams, eight men's and 11 women's sports. The school colors are garnet and blue, and the mascot is Scotty the Scotsman, a medieval Scottish warrior. The team name comes from the socks worn by the football team in the early days of the twentieth century.
The Wesley Brown Field House is a sports arena at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It is located between the 7th Wing of Bancroft Hall and Santee Basin. The 140,000-square-foot (13,000 m2) facility houses physical education, varsity sports, club sports, and personal-fitness programs and equipment. It is home to the Midshipmen women's volleyball team, men's and women's indoor track and field teams, men's wrestling, women’s lacrosse team and sixteen club sports. It also serves as the practice space for the football and women's volleyball teams. There is also a centralized sports-medicine facility. The building has a total room area of 5,800 square feet (540 m2), eight locker rooms, and 300 lockers.
The St. Lawrence Saints are composed of 33 teams representing St. Lawrence University in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's alpine skiing, basketball, cross country, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, nordic skiing, riding, rowing, soccer, squash, swimming, tennis, and track and field. Men's sports include baseball and football. Women's sports include field hockey, softball, and volleyball. The Saints compete in the NCAA Division III and are members of the Liberty League for all sports except ice hockey, which competes in NCAA Division I, as a member of ECAC Hockey.

They finished the season 15–15, 9–9 in Patriot League play to finish in sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League women's tournament to Loyola (MD).
The 2016–17 Navy Midshipmen women's basketball team represented the United States Naval Academy during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Midshipmen, led by ninth year head coach Stefanie Pemper, played their home games at Alumni Hall and were members of the Patriot League. They advanced to the championship of the Patriot League women's tournament where they lost to Bucknell. They received an automatic bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament they defeated George Washington in the first round before losing to Virginia Tech in the second round.

The Midshipmen, led by tenth year head coach Stefanie Pemper, play their home games at Alumni Hall and are members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 25–8, 13–5 in Patriot League play to finish in third place. They advanced to the championship game of the Patriot League women's tournament where they lost to American. They received an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament where they lost to Virginia Tech in the first round.
The Lyon Center or Lyon Recreation Center is a student recreational facility and part-time varsity athletics facility located on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The Lyon Center's full name is the General William Lyon University Center and is named for William Lyon, a former General in the United States Army Air Corps and United States Air Force. The facility is adjacent to the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

The Midshipmen, led by eleventh year head coach Stefanie Pemper, play their home games at Alumni Hall and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 10–18, 5–13 in Patriot League play to finish in a tie for eighth place. They lost in the first round of the Patriot League women's tournament to Holy Cross.

The University of South Florida currently sponsors 19 varsity athletic teams and has 11 facilities in the designated Athletics District on or adjacent to its Tampa campus, one on its St. Petersburg campus, and one elsewhere in Tampa. 18 of the 19 teams have some sort of facility in the USF Athletics District.
