The Handball Association of the DPR Korea (HADPRK) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Founded in 1974, HADPRK is a member of Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF). [1] [2]

Asian Handball Federation

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is the governing body of handball and beach handball in Asia. It has 44 member countries, mostly located on the Asian continent, but excludes the transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russian Federation and Turkey – which are instead members of European Handball Federation (EHF). Three other states located along the western fringe of Asia – Cyprus, Armenia and Israel – are also EHF members. Hong Kong China and Macau, although not independent countries, are also members of the AHF.

The Afghanistan Handball Federation (AHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Founded in 2004, AHF is a member of Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

In India, Handball and Handball Federation of India was founded by Mr. Jagat Singh Lohan, a Jat from Rohtak (Haryana) who was an alumnus of YMCA College of Physical Education of Madras. Lohan was founder/father of Handball, Netball and Throwball games in India. His efforts in Germany during Munich Olympics helped in establishing Handball Federation of India. The Member States were Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Vidharbha and Jammu and Kashmir. He was also elected as first Secretary General of Handball Federation of India.

Pakistan Handball Federation (PHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. PHF is an affiliated member of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Federal Republic of Nigeria. Founded in 1972, HFN is a member of African Handball Confederation (CAHB) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The Czech Handball Association (CHA) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Czech Republic. Founded in 1968, CHA is a member of European Handball Federation (EHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The Chinese Taipei Handball Association is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Republic of China. CTHBA is a member of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and member of the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1972.

The Kazakhstan Handball Federation (KHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Republic of Kazakhstan. The Iraqi Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball in Republic of Iraq. Founded in 1972, IHF is a member of the Asian Handball Federation and member of the International Handball Federation since 1976.

The Syrian Arab Handball Federation (SAHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball in Syrian Arab Republic. SAHF is a member of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and member of the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1962.

The Handball Federation Singapore (HFS) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Republic of Singapore. Founded in 2008, HFS is a member of Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The Lebanese Handball Federation (LHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in Lebanese Republic. Founded in 1968, LHF is a member of Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The Democratic Republic of the Congo Handball Federation (DRCHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Founded in 1970, DRCHF is a member of African Handball Confederation (CAHB) and the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The South Korea national junior handball team is the national under–20 handball team of South Korea. Controlled by the Korea Handball Federation, that is an affiliate of the International Handball Federation IHF as well as a member of the Asian Handball Federation AHF, The team represents South Korea in international matches.
