Sanganabhatla Harish Shankar (born 31 March 1979) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works exclusively in Telugu cinema, and Telugu theater. [2] [3] [4] He made his directorial debut with Shock (2006), produced by Ram Gopal Varma. [5]
He has directed Mirapakay (2011), Gabbar Singh (2012); for which he received the SIIMA Award for Best Director, and CineMAA Award for Best Director. Gabbar Singh grossed ₹150 crore (US$18 million) worldwide, becoming one of the highest grossing Telugu films at the time. [6] Ramayya Vasthavayya (2013) grossed a worldwide share of ₹309 million (US$3.7 million) [7] and DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017) grossed ₹150 crore, [8] both of which were directed by him.
Harish Shankar was born in Dharmapuri, Telangana into a Telugu Brahmin family and was brought up in BHEL Township, Hyderabad. [9] He has a younger brother, Vishnu Prasad, and a younger sister. He studied at Osmania University. [4] [5] [10]
Shankar started stage acting with Seeta Nilayam and Lalitha kala Mandiram, based in Telangana. He then began writing and screenwriting. [11] He is influenced by Yandamuri Veerendranath's works and is interested in dialects, regional and linguistic influences. [12] He was associated with Kona Venkat, Puri Jagannadh, Ram Gopal Varma, and has worked as an associate director for films such as Ninne Istapaddanu and Veede . [11]

Rama Rao Jr., Shruti Haasan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In the film, Nandu and his group of friends are happy go lucky guys and he gets struck when he sees Akarsha (Samantha). From thereon, he tries all ways to impress her and finally manages to do that. He is invited for Akarsha's sister marriage and there he meets her father who is going through a series of life threats and other issues from hidden enemies. Nandu comes forward and offers to help. However, there is a motive behind Nandu's help and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

The release coincided with a promotional event held at Hotel Marriott in Hyderabad, India. The album was officially released by Aditya Music, one of the prominent music companies in South India. The audio went on to receive positive response from reviewers and audience alike thanks to the promos released.

The album consists of five tracks with Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao, Sri Mani, Bhaskarabhatla, Sahithi and Balaji penning the lyrics. The soundtrack album released digitally on 21 May 2017 under Aditya Music label. The film stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, while Rao Ramesh, Subbaraju, Chandra Mohan, and Murali Sharma play supporting roles.
