Srinu Vaitla (born 24 September 1972) is an Indian film director who works in Telugu cinema. Known for the best film works in the action comedy genre, Vaitla made his directional debut with Nee Kosam (1999) starring Ravi Teja and Maheswari. His second directorial venture Anandam (2001) gave him recognition as a director. He went on to direct many Telugu films such as Sontham , Venky , Dhee , Dubai Seenu , Ready , King , Dookudu , and Baadshah. [2] Since his film Venky, he has successfully collaborated with Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan who guide him in writing screenplay in further of his films.

Bhupatiraju Ravi Shankar Raju, known professionally as Ravi Teja, is an Indian actor and film producer who mainly works in Telugu cinema. Known for his roles in action comedy films, he is popular by the moniker "Mass Maharaja". One of the highest-paid Telugu film actors, Teja has won three state Nandi Awards and one Filmfare Award South. He was featured by Forbes India in the list of top 100 Celebrities in 2012, 2013 and 2015.

Dookudu (transl. Aggressive) is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla and written by Vaitla, Kona Venkat, and Gopimohan. It is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Prakash Raj, and Sonu Sood alongside Brahmanandam who played a supporting role. The film revolves around Ajay Kumar (Babu), a police officer and son of ex-MLA Shankar Narayana (Raj), who awakes from coma, but his health remains perilous. To aid his recovery, Kumar masquerades as a MLA fulfilling his father's ambition for him, while also hunting his father's foes. The film was inspired by the 2003 German film Good Bye, Lenin!.

The film stars Ram Charan Teja, alongside Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Vijay, Kriti Kharbanda, Sampath Raj and Nadhiya. The music was composed by S. Thaman, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and M. R. Varma. Amar Akbar Anthony is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action drama film co-written and directed by Sreenu Vaitla which features Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz playing the lead Alongside Vikramjeet Virk And Abhimanyu Singh. Also marking the fourth collaboration between Teja and Vaitla after Nee Kosam, Venky and Dubai Seenu, the film was produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. Pre-production of the film began in June 2017, and the film's principal photography commenced at New York in April 2018. The narrative centers around Amar, a man suffering from multiple personality disorder, who is on a vengeful killing spree but is often hindered by the emergence of two more personalities he is unaware of.

The album was met with mixed response from critics, but fetched Thaman his maiden Filmfare Award for Best Music Director – Telugu.
