Haruni (Persian : هاروني‎, also Romanized as Hārūnī; also known as Horūnī)^[1] is a village in Esfandar Rural District, Bahman District, Abarkuh County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 469, in 129 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Esfandar Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Bahman District, Abarkuh County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,824, in 1,086 families. The rural district has 16 villages.

Bahman District is a district (bakhsh) in Abarkuh County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,001, in 3,422 families. The District has one city: Mehrdasht. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Esfandar Rural District and Mehrabad Rural District.
