The Girl in the Other Room is the seventh studio album by Canadian singer Diana Krall, released on March 31, 2004, by Verve Records. In addition to cover versions, it is Krall's first album to include original material, which she co-wrote with her husband Elvis Costello.
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is a song written in 1943 by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 MGM musical Meet Me in St. Louis. Frank Sinatra later recorded a version with modified lyrics. In 2007, ASCAP ranked it the third most performed Christmas song during the preceding five years that had been written by ASCAP members. In 2004 it finished at No. 76 in AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs rankings of the top tunes in American cinema.

"Someday at Christmas" is a song by American singer Stevie Wonder, from his first Christmas album and same-titled eighth studio album (1967). Written by Ron Miller and Bryan Wells, it was produced by Henry R. Crosby. Initially released as a standalone single in 1966, it led to the recording of its parent album which was issued a year later. Described retrospectively as "a modern holiday classic", "Someday at Christmas" has since been covered by several artists, including Wonder himself whose 2015 duet version with Andra Day, recorded for an Apple TV commercial, re-entered the charts.
