Heart 2 Heart is the seventh studio album by Filipino R&B singer Kyla, released in August 2008 by EMI Music Philippines and Poly East Records in CD and cassette format [1] and digitally [2] on June 11, 2009. Like the previous album Heartfelt , it also consists mostly of covers.

Contents

The album was produced by Chito Ilagan and Jay R Sillona with his team Smash Brothaz, and co-produced by Kyla herself. Heart 2 Heart also includes original OPM materials like "You Make Me Feel" and "Back In Time", both of which Kyla wrote with Jay R. [3]

The single "Back In Time" won several awards including "OPM Song Of The Year" at the RX 93.1 Awards, [4] "Best Collaboration Award" at the Wave 89.1 Urban Music Awards [5] and in 2010 for "Favorite Song" at the MYX Music Awards. [6]

Heaven is the debut studio album by Filipina singer Nina, released in the Philippines on August 20, 2002 by Warner Music. The album is heavily influenced by jazzy lounge, pop-R&B and composed of songs that resemble the sound of international records at the time. Under the direction of Warner managing head Ricky R. Ilacad, foreign songwriters and arrangers from the United States and South Korea, including Shelly Peiken and Guy Roche, were hired for the production of the album. Ilacad was very impressed with Nina's submitted demo version of Steve Perry's "Foolish Heart" which they decided to re-record for the album.

"2nd Floor" is a song by Filipino singer Nina from her 2002 debut album Heaven. It was released to radio in December 2002 by Warner Music Philippines as the album's first promo single in lieu of the album's release in the Philippines. The song was written by Arnie Mendaros, and produced by Neil Gregorio. As soon as Nina sent her demo to Warner and immediately got a contract with the label, production for her first album began. "2nd Floor" became one of the first OPM songs to feature Taglish lyrics and a pop-R&B arrangement. Nina's whistle register is very evident on the song.

"Jealous" is a song by Filipino singer Nina from her 2002 debut studio album Heaven. It was released as the album's second commercial single in February 2003 by Warner Music Philippines. The song was written by international songwriters Shelly Peiken and Brett Laurence, and it was produced by Ferdie Marquez. The song tells a story of a girl who is in love with her ex-boyfriend that has a new girlfriend. She narrates how jealous she is with the girl, and how lucky the girl is. She also promises to wait for the boy, the moment the girl leaves him.

The song was written by Joleen Belle, Michael Jay, Carsten Lindberg Hansen and Joachim Svare, and it was produced by Warner personnel Neil Gregorio. It is one of her few original singles. It is also her first upbeat pop-R&B-dance single, since her 2003 number one hit "Make You Mine". The song is described to be Mariah Carey-like, due to Nina's evident use of whistle register and upper-pitch trajectories in the last part of the song.

Private Affair is the eighth studio album of Filipino singer Kyla, released in the Philippines on November 30, 2010, by PolyEast Records. After successfully promoting her albums in Malaysia and Indonesia, it was announced that Kyla was planning to release a new album with her label in early 2010. Originally slated for a May 2010 release, the album's release date was pushed back to September. Due to heightened international activity, it was, again, pushed back to November 2010.
