Heartstrings is the debut studio album by Japanese novelty heavy metal band Aisenshi, released through Metallic Core on June 5, 2013. Released as the spiritual successor to lead vocalist Eizo Sakamoto's previous band Animetal, the album features metal covers of various anime theme songs. [1] [2] [3]

Animetal was a Japanese heavy metal band who specialized in metal covers of theme songs from classic and modern Japanese anime and tokusatsu television series.
Animetal Marathon is the first full-length album by Japanese novelty heavy metal band Animetal, released through Sony Records on March 23, 1997. The album consists of a non-stop marathon of metal covers of anime themes from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. A karaoke version of this album was also released on April 23, 1997. This is also the only studio album to feature the band as a quartet; all other releases have the band as a trio with a guest drummer.

The album consists of a non-stop marathon of metal covers of various tokusatsu themes: the first three songs are from the newest Super Sentai series at the time of the album's recording, tracks 5-34 are tokusatsu ending themes, and tracks 35-41 are opening themes of solo tokusatsu and Metal Hero Series titles. The last track, "Jump in the Fire!", is a marathon of anime songs adapted from manga published in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Animetal Marathon VII was also the band's final marathon album.

Decade of Bravehearts is the eighth and final studio album by Japanese novelty heavy metal band Animetal, released through VAP on August 8, 2006. Commemorating the band's 10th anniversary, the album features full length covers of various anime and tokusatsu songs that they have covered on their other albums, plus their covers of the themes from the 2002 Super Sentai series Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger and the 2003 anime series Godannar. "Pegasus Fantasy" is a song by Japanese metal band Make-Up. Serving as the band's fourth major release single, "Pegasus Fantasy" and its B-side "Blue Forever" were used as the theme songs for the first half of the original Saint Seiya anime. "Pegasus Fantasy" became Make-Up's most successful release, and they have re-released the song several times since its initial release in 1986. After releasing a "21st century ver." on their mini-album The Voice from Yesterday, Make-Up released a new edition of the song in 2012, subtitled "Version Omega", which features Shoko Nakagawa, the voice actress for Athena, on guest vocals and is used as the opening theme song for the re-imagined Saint Seiya Omega anime. "Pegasus Fantasy Version Omega" reached number 29 on the Oricon's weekly rankings. Masami Kurumada, the author of the Saint Seiya manga, has even included "Pegasus Fantasy" in the manga, with a background character seen singing it. It was appereanced in Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun!.
