Helcogramma rosea, the rosy triplefin, is a species of triplefin blenny in the genus Helcogramma . [2] It was described by Wouter Holleman in 2006. [3] This species occurs in the eastern Indian Ocean around Sri Lanka and in the Andaman Sea. [1]
Helcogramma is a genus in the triplefin family Tripterygiidae. The blennies in the genus Helcogramma are found throughout the Indo-Pacific and in the South Atlantic Ocean off the islands of St Helena and Ascension.
Helcogramma obtusirostris, the hotlips triplefin or shortsnout triplefin, is a triplefin blenny of the family Tripterygiidae, found from the Red Sea south to South Africa and east to the western Pacific, and the southeast Atlantic, around Ascension Island and St. Helena. This species is found in the western Indian Ocean along the coats of East Africa from the Bazaruto Islands in Mozambique to Malindi in Kenya, it is also found in the Comoro Islands, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
