Henry Braham (born 30 October 1965 in England) is a British cinematographer, best known for his work on Nanny McPhee , The Legend of Tarzan , Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Suicide Squad, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 , and The Flash.

Early life and career

Braham’s cinematographic career began in 1989 with the British band The KLF working on their 1991 road movie, The White Room.

He later became a frequent collaborator with directors Kirk Jones and James Gunn, as cinematographer on their films Waking Ned Divine (1998), Nanny McPhee (2005), Everybody’s Fine (2009), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), The Suicide Squad (2021), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). Braham’s other credits include The Golden Compass (2007), Bright Young Things (2003), and The Legend of Tarzan (2016).

Braham has also directed several commercials. [1] In 2013, Henry has also designed the lighting for the sellout exhibition, “Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones” for the Victoria and Albert Museum. [2]

Henry is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers and is also the co-founder of the Good Hemp Food brand with Glynis Murray. [3]

The Suicide Squad (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album for the film of the same name. The album was released on August 6, 2021, by Troll Court Entertainment and WaterTower Music. The album features several songs from different artists, which were personally selected by the film's director James Gunn, whom has called the album his "curated mix tape". A single for the soundtrack called "Rain" by Jessie Reyez and Grandson was released on June 22 as part of the soundtrack. A separate film score album, titled The Suicide Squad (Score from the Original Picture Soundtrack), was also released by WaterTower Music on the same date with John Murphy as the composer, replacing Gunn's frequent collaborator Tyler Bates who was originally to be the film's composer. A single for Murphy's score "So This Is The Famous Suicide Squad", was made available on July 8.
