"Here with Me" is a song by the American singer D4vd, released to streaming services on September 22, 2022. [1] It went viral on the app TikTok and became his second most successful song, following "Romantic Homicide".
The song centers on D4vd's experience in a romantic relationship. It was inspired by the 2009 film Up and is founded on the relationship between the characters Carl Fredricksen and Elle. D4vd has said:
One day as I was watching the sun rise along the coast, I remembered when they were watching the sunrise at that picnic, and I just had to write about it while not finishing the story when Elle dies per se, but having them grow old together and just experience life together. That was the whole meaning behind that track. [2]
According to D4vd, when he was writing the song he "tried to harness the parts of love that no one writes about." [3]
The beat used on the song was created by Indonesian Youtuber and Producer "Dan Darmawan" from BeatStars. According in a BeatStars post on Twitter, [4] Dan Darmawan is composer of the beat. [5] [6] . Originally producing the beat under the name "Indie x Bedroom Pop x Dream Pop Type Beat - time" [7] in July 26, 2021.
