Hesselager is a small town located on the island of Funen in south-central Denmark, in Svendborg Municipality. It is located 19 km south of Nyborg, 7 km northwest of Lundeborg and 18 km northeast of Svendborg.
Close to the village stands the Damestenen (or Hesselagerstenen), the biggest glacial erratic of Denmark. [2]
Funen County is a former county in central Denmark, comprising the islands of Funen, Langeland, Tåsinge, Ærø, and approximately 90 other islands, of which only 25 are inhabited. Sakskøbing, previously spelled Sakskjøbing, is a town on the island of Lolland in south Denmark. It has a population of 4,556. Until 1 January 2007 it was the seat of the former Sakskøbing Municipality, and is now situated in Guldborgsund Municipality in Region Sjælland.

Svendborg County is a former province in Denmark, located on the southern half of the island of Funen in central Denmark. Svendborg County was established in 1793 and abolished in 1970 when it merged with Odense County forming the new Funen County.
The Svendborg Line is the railway line between Odense and Svendborg, inaugurated on 12 July 1876. The line was established by Sydfyenske Jernbaner, and taken over by DSB on 1 April 1949. Since 13 December 2020, the line has been managed by Arriva, a private multinational company.

Founded in 2018 as an elite superstructure of Svendborg fB and Oure FA, it is affiliated to DBU Funen. Øhavsstien is one of the longest hiking trails in Denmark. The trail goes through the South Funen Archipelago, along southern regions of Funen, as well as the islands of Tåsinge, Langeland and Ærø. It is exclusively a hiking trail, and bikes and horses are not allowed.
