The Africa Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) is a men's field hockey competition for clubs in Africa. It was first played for in 1988. [1]

In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Hockey Federation banned the participation of all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from all events sanctioned by the Federation.

The league was founded in 1986 as the Leistungsklasse A, abbreviated LKA, and was also officially known as the Ligue nationale A in French and the Lega Nazionale A in Italian, both abbreviated as LNA. During 2014 to 2019, the league was called the Swiss Women's Hockey League A, abbreviated SWHL A; the abbreviation continues to be used by the league following the 2019 name change. An amateur league, it is organized by the Regio League, an organ of the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation.

Clube Desportivo Primeiro de Agosto is an Angolan multisports club based in Luanda. The club is attached to the Angolan Armed Forces which is its main sponsor. The club's men's and women's handball teams compete at the local level, at the Luanda Provincial Handball Championship and at the Angolan Men's and Women's leagues as well as at continental level, at the annual African Handball Champions League competitions.

The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland.

The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.

The 2022 Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup was the 32nd edition of the Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup, Europe's premier men's club indoor hockey tournament organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was held at the Alanya Atatürk Spor Salonu in Alanya, Turkey from 11 to 13 February 2022.

ESC Planegg-Würmtal, nicknamed the Planegg Penguins, are an ice hockey club in the German Women's Ice Hockey League (DFEL). They are based in Planegg, in the Würmtal near Munich, and, as of the 2022–23 season, play at the Eisstadion Miesbach in Miesbach, which they share with the TEV Miesbach of the men's Eishockey-Bayernliga. ESC Planegg have won the German Championship in women's ice hockey eight times, three more wins than any other team in league history; they have also won seven German Championship silver medals and three bronze medals.

The 2023 Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup was scheduled to be the 33rd edition of the Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup, Europe's premier men's club indoor hockey tournament organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was scheduled to be held at the Alanya Atatürk Spor Salonu in Alanya, Turkey from 17 to 19 February 2023. On 10 February 2023, it was announced the tournament was cancelled due to the impact of the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake.
