Horton – Beach and Village

Horton Beach is located in Port Eynon Bay on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula in Wales.

It is reached from the nearby village of Horton via a steep hill, and has a car park sited a few minutes' walk away. Despite its accessibility and its popularity with surfers, the beach is usually very quiet and it has sand even at high tide.

Brandy Cove is a very small beach in the Gower Peninsula, south Wales, that is much less accessible than Caswell Bay immediately to the east. It is set at the end of a valley from Bishopston village. It is reachable by footpath from Bishopston or from Caswell Bay over some steep cliffs. The bay gets its name from stories of smugglers using the bay to unload their illegal tobacco and alcohol goods during the eighteenth century.

Tresilian Bay, also Tresillian Bay, is a bay in southeast Wales, west of Llantwit Major's Collugh beach and east of St Donats, on the Bristol Channel. The beach at the bay lies in front of a valley in which the Nant Tresilian flows and empties in the sea. It lies along a stretch of coast and cliff path under protection by the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, characterised by limestone cliffs with many caves and several bays/valleys. There is a distinctive white house, Tresilian House, located at Tresilian Bay at the end of the valley in front of the pebble beach and a pill box on the cliff nearby. The cove of Col Huw is located nearby.

Penrice is a village and community in Swansea county, Wales on the Gower peninsula. It had a population of 451 as of the 2011 UK census and includes the villages of Oxwich and Horton. Penrice has an elected community council.
