Howrah is the second-largest city after Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. Howrah is located on the western bank of the Hooghly River opposite its twin city of Kolkata. McWilliam Higher Secondary School is a state government school in Alipurduar, the central town of Dooars, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is one of the oldest schools in Alipurduar. It was founded in 1937, during British Raj, as an upper primary school.
