Hruševje (pronounced [ˈxɾuːʃɛu̯jɛ] ; Italian : Cruscevie) is a settlement west of Postojna in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. [3]
Hruševje stands in the western part of the Pivka Basin along the old main road from Razdrto to Postojna. The older part of the village stands on a hill topped by the village church, and the newer part, where houses were built after the Second World War, stands along the old main road. [4]
The settlement has several restaurants, including a bar, a typical restaurant, and a pizzeria [5] (with an electric vehicle charging station). It also has a fire station and a post office. Bicycle manufacturer Liv Kolesa has a plastic processing plant in the settlement. Across the street from the plant is a primary school.
The church in Hruševje is dedicated to the Prophet Daniel. It stands on a hill in the center of the village. It is an early Baroque structure with a rectangular nave ending in a chancel of equal width walled on three sides. The entrance bears the years 1633 and 1888. The bell tower is topped with an elongated onion dome and was built in 1793. [6]

Brezje pri Dobrovi is an elongated village in the Municipality of Dobrova–Polhov Gradec in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia on the road from Dobrova to Horjul. It lies on the somewhat elevated north side of the marshy valley of Horjulka Creek and it also includes the hamlet of Poljšno Brdo to the east of the main settlement. Ključ Hill rises above the settlement to the north, and Strmca Hill to the south.
Črni Vrh is a dispersed settlement in the hills northwest of Polhov Gradec in the Municipality of Dobrova–Polhov Gradec in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It includes many isolated farms scattered throughout the hills between Big Božna Creek to the south, Little Božna Creek to the northeast, Dog Plateau to the northwest, and Špilj Hill to the south-southeast.
Hruševo is a settlement northeast of Dobrova in the Municipality of Dobrova–Polhov Gradec in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlets of Log, Selo, and Na Govcu. Hruševnik Creek flows through the valley south of the main part of Hruševo, and then separates this and Log from Selo and Na Govcu before joining the Gradaščica River.

The municipality was established in its current form on 3 October 1994, when the former larger Municipality of Postojna was subdivided into the municipalities of Pivka and Postojna.
