This species was described by Ray Forster and Cecil Wilton in 1973 from female and male specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum. [1]
This species is recorded at 4.42mm in length. The carapace has a brown patch dorsally. The legs are yellow brown. The abdomen is creamy with black markings dorsally. [1]
