Shinee is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group's musical impact in their native country has earned them numerous accolades and the title "Princes of K-pop". The group currently is composed of four members: Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Originally a five-piece group, vocalist Jonghyun died in December 2017.

Lucifer is the second studio album by South Korean boy band Shinee, released on July 19, 2010, in South Korea. It was re-released as Hello on October 4, 2010. The album is listed by Gaon Album Chart as the sixth best-selling album of 2010 in South Korea, with over 120,000 copies sold.
Lee Tae-min, better known mononymously as Taemin, is a South Korean singer, actor, and dancer. He debuted as a member of the boy band Shinee in May 2008 and the supergroup SuperM in 2019, both under SM Entertainment, and has subsequently been labeled by media outlets as the "Idol's Idol" due to the large number of idols citing him as an inspiration. As an actor, Taemin's first role was as Junsu in the 2009 MBC comedy Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun.
The Boys is the third Korean studio album and the fourth overall by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. The record saw the contribution of the group's previous collaborator Hitchhiker, who produced the tracks "Telepathy" and "Sunflower". The title track, "The Boys", was a result of experimenting with new producers, including American Grammy Award-winning producer Teddy Riley. Musically, The Boys mostly contain uptempo dance tracks and occasionally empowerment ballads.

The album was scheduled for release on November 23, 2011, however it was delayed to December 7, 2011 in Japan under EMI Music Japan. Shinee World 2012 is the first Japan nationwide concert tour by South Korean boy group Shinee to support their first Japanese studio album, The First. The tour kicked off in Fukuoka on April 25, 2012, and ended in Hiroshima on July 1, 2012, with a total of 20 concerts in seven cities.

A mashup of two different tracks, "Sherlock " is often considered K-pop's first "hybrid remix". Shinee World 2013 is the second Japan nationwide concert tour by South Korean boy group Shinee to promote their second Japanese studio album, Boys Meet U. The tour kicked off in Saitama on June 28, 2013, and ended in Nagoya on December 11, 2013, with a total of 15 concerts in nine cities.

Skool Luv Affair is the second extended play by South Korean boy band BTS. The ten-track album was released by Big Hit Entertainment on February 12, 2014, with "Boy in Luv" as its lead single. Two music videos, including a choreography only version, accompanied the single's release. A second single, "Just One Day", was promoted in April. The Digitalian is the thirteenth studio album of the Japanese boy band Arashi. The album was released on October 22, 2014 under their record label J Storm in two editions: a first press/limited edition and a regular edition. The regular edition comes with a 32-page photo lyrics booklet, while the limited edition comes with a 60-page photo lyrics booklet and a bonus DVD with a music video and making-of for "Zero-G". The album sold over 660,000 copies in its first week and became the third best selling album of 2014 in Japan. The album features three previously released singles, "Your Number", "Sing Your Song" and the Japanese version of previous Korean single "View", and one new single, "DxDxD". The album reached number one on the Oricon weekly chart, becoming the first album to do so in 2016. It was Shinee's second number one album in Japan following their 2014 release I'm Your Boy.
Shinee World 2014 is the third Japan nationwide concert tour by South Korean boy band Shinee, to promote their third Japanese studio album I'm Your Boy. The tour kicked off in Chiba on September 28, 2014, and ended on December 19 in Hyogo, with a total of 30 concerts in 20 cities. On March 14 and 15, 2015, Shinee performed at the Tokyo Dome for the finale performance, which was also their first time performing at the venue. The tour was attended by a total of 300,000 fans.

The original Korean version was released by Big Hit Entertainment on November 30, 2015, in South Korea. The Japanese single version was released on March 15, 2016, under the Pony Canyon label.
Superstar is the first Japanese extended play by South Korean boy group Shinee. It was released digitally on June 28, 2021 through EMI Records and SM Entertainment Japan with its physical release following a month later on July 28. The EP contains five songs including the lead single, "Superstar". It reached number one on Oricon's weekly album chart.
