Diana Adelaide Rocha De Brito, known by her stage name IAMDDB, is a Portugal-born British rapper and singer based in Manchester, United Kingdom. IAMDDB has released three EPs and three mixtapes as of 2021 and was listed number three on BBC Sound of 2018. [1] [2]

Life and career

De Brito was born in Lisbon, Portugal and moved to Manchester, United Kingdom at the age of five or six. [3] She is of Angolan and Portuguese ancestry. [4]

She released the Hoodrich, Vol. 3 mixtape in 2017 [1] and Flightmode, Vol. 4 in 2018.

IAMDDB was a supporting musician for Lauryn Hill's UK tour in late 2018. [5] Her latest album is 2019's Swervvvvv.5. [4]

IAMDDB made an announcement via twitter that she will be releasing a Vol. 6 in 2024.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is the only solo studio album by American singer-songwriter and rapper Lauryn Hill. It was released on August 25, 1998, by Ruffhouse Records and Columbia Records. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is a neo soul and R&B album with some songs based in hip hop soul and reggae. Its lyrics touch upon Hill's pregnancy and the turmoil within her former group the Fugees, along with themes of love and God. The album's title was inspired by the film and autobiographical novel The Education of Sonny Carson, and Carter G. Woodson's The Mis-Education of the Negro.
