III the EP is an extended play record released by Mondo Generator on November 22, 2004 by Tornado Records. This was the first release after Nick Oliveri was fired from Queens of the Stone Age. Mondo Generator embarked on a short European tour in support of this release in late 2004.

Contents

The track "All The Way Down" would later be re-recorded for Mondo Generator's next album Dead Planet: SonicSlowMotionTrails , while all tracks except "Six Shooter" was re-released on Oliveri's 2004 solo acoustic album Demolition Day , and on the 2007 re-release of Dead Planet .

He is currently the frontman and co-founder of the stoner rock power trio, Stöner. Bjork is one of the more notable figures in the stoner rock and Palm Desert scene and maintains a prolific solo career with over a dozen released albums.

Cocaine Rodeo is the debut studio album by American rock band Mondo Generator, released through Southern Lord Records on 18 July, 2000. It was compiled of material recorded by vocalist/bassist Nick Oliveri with drummer Rob Oswald, vocalist/guitarist Brent Malkus, and his ex-Kyuss bandmates Josh Homme, Brant Bjork and John Garcia. Recorded in 1997, the material was shelved for three years due to disinterest from the band to release it and Oliveri's full-time commitment to Queens of the Stone Age.

Moistboyz is an American hard rock band formed in New Hope, Pennsylvania in 1991 by Guy Heller and Mickey Melchiondo. Moistboyz music is typically fast-paced punk/metal, combining stream-of-consciousness lyrics with aggressive rock guitar riffs.

Winnebago Deal are a British rock band from Oxford. They formed in the late 1990s at Bartholomew School in Eynsham, with Ben Perrier and Ben Thomas (drums). Perrier and Thomas decided to perform as a duo after ejecting some early members. Their sound has been compared to Queens of the Stone Age and the bands who recorded for Sub Pop Records. Winnebago Deal generated strong support from many appearances at Oxford's Zodiac club, eventually supporting Fugazi at London's Forum. Their first release was the EP Plata O Plomo in 2003. They were nominated as Best British Newcomer at that year's Kerrang! awards.

This is a compilation of the fifth and sixth The Desert Sessions releases. Queens of the Stone Age later performed "You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire" on their Songs for the Deaf album, and "Rickshaw" has often been included in their live set. "Like a Drug" has been re-recorded and features on certain special editions of Lullabies to Paralyze. "I'm Dead" was recorded by Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri in an acoustic arrangement and retitled "Day I Die" for the Mondo Generator album A Drug Problem That Never Existed. This pair of sessions featured a wider range of musicians than previous releases, including Dwarves singer Blag Dahlia.
