Ibrahim Sabry is an Egyptian archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. He won the gold medal in the boys' event, defeating Rick van den Oever of the Netherlands in the final. [1]

The 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, officially known as the I Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2010, were the inaugural edition of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG), an Olympic Games-based event for young athletes. Held in Singapore from 14 to 26 August 2010, it was the first International Olympic Committee–sanctioned event held in Southeast Asia. The Games featured about 3,600 athletes aged 14–18 from 204 nations, who competed in 201 events in 26 sports. No official medal tables were published, but the most successful nation was China, followed by Russia; host Singapore did not win any gold medals. Most unique features of the YOG, such as mixed-NOCs teams and the Culture and Education Programme (CEP), made their debut at the 2010 Games.

Girls' triathlon was part of the triathlon at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics programme. The event consisted of 750 metres (0.47 mi) swimming, 20 kilometres (12 mi) cycling, and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) running. It was held on 15 August 2010 at East Coast Park. The park is Singapore's most popular public beach and park; it is the venue of the Osim Singapore Triathlon, an Olympic triathlon event which began in 2002. Competitors swam in the open seas of the Singapore Strait and raced on the park's 12-kilometre (7.5 mi) track. U.S. triathlon coach Keith Dickson said the course favored strong swimmers and fast runners. Athletes were faced with environmental challenges such as strong sea currents and tropical heat and humidity. As the first medal event of the Singapore Games, the winner of this triathlon received the first gold medal in the Youth Olympic Games.

The event was the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, and it saw 3,531 athletes between 14 and 18 years of age competing in 201 events in 26 sports. This medal table ranks the 204 participating National Olympic Committees (NOCs) by the number of gold medals won by their athletes. The Kuwait Olympic Committee was suspended by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) prior to the Games, but Kuwaiti athletes were allowed to participate and the country is listed in the table, bearing the Olympic flag.

When a mixed-NOCs team won a medal, the Olympic flag was raised rather than a national flag; if a mixed-NOCs team won gold, the Olympic anthem would be played instead of national anthems.

Entry was open to female archers born between 1 January 1992 and 31 December 1993.

Gregor Rajh is a Slovenian archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. He finished fourth in the boys' event, losing to Bolot Tsybzhitov of Russia in the bronze medal match. He paired up with Zoi Paraskevopoulou of Greece to win silver in the mixed team event, losing to Gloria Filippi and Anton Karoukin in the gold medal match.

Kwak Ye-ji is a South Korean archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. She won the gold medal in the girls' event, defeating Tan Ya-ting of Chinese Taipei in the final. In the ranking rounds, she had fired a score of 670, a new junior world record. Kwak also won the women's recurve event at the 2009 World Cup.

Gloria Filippi is an Italian archer. Born in Rovereto, she participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. She was eliminated in the first round of the girls' event; she paired up with Anton Karoukin of Belarus and won gold in the mixed team event, defeating Zoi Paraskevopoulou of Greece and Gregor Rajh of Slovenia in the gold medal match.

Anton Karoukin is a Belarusian archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. He was eliminated in the first round of the individual event by eventual champion Ibrahim Sabry on a tiebreak. He paired up with Gloria Filippi of Italy and won gold in the mixed team event, defeating Zoi Paraskevopoulou of Greece and Gregor Rajh of Slovenia in the gold medal match.

Zoi Paraskevopoulou is a Greek archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. She was eliminated in the first round in the individual event. She paired up with Gregor Rajh of Slovenia to win silver in the mixed team event, losing to Gloria Filippi and Anton Karoukin in the gold medal match.
