If You're Young is the first LP released by the Static Jacks. Produced and engineered by Chris Shaw, [8] the album was released on August 30, 2011 in the United States of America and on March 5, 2012 in the United Kingdom, both with Fearless Records.
When asked "Is there a theme to If You're Young?" in an interview by Filter, lead singer Ian Devaney states, "There are definitely running themes. I'd say the overarching one is the frustration that comes with the transition period in your late teens and early 20s. It's a tough time in your life to try and hold on to the relationships you've had for so many years." [9]
The double single of "Into the Sun" [10] and "Mercy, Hallelujah" [11] was released on July 26, 2011 with iTunes.
On September 29, 2011, Rolling Stone debuted Remix Artist Collective's Maury Mix of "Into the Sun". [12]
The video for "Into the Sun" was released on YouTube under TheStaticJacks account in November 2011. It clocks at 3:35.

"You're Not Sorry" is a song written and recorded by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift for her second studio album, Fearless (2008). She was inspired to write "You're Not Sorry" by an ex-boyfriend who she realized was the contrary to what he had appeared to be. Produced by Swift and Nathan Chapman, "You're Not Sorry" is a rock power ballad that incorporates piano and dynamic electric guitars. Big Machine Records released the song for download via the iTunes Store on October 28, 2008. A remix was released for the television episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, in which Swift made an appearance. Some critics praised Swift's songwriting but others took issue with the balladic production as overdone.
Filter is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick, along with guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album, Short Bus (1995) received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), supported by the single "Hey Man Nice Shot." After the album, the band would go through the first of many lineup changes, leaving Patrick as the only consistent member across all releases.

"Blood on the Leaves" is a song by American hip hop recording artist Kanye West from his sixth studio album Yeezus (2013). In the song, West presents his thoughts on how fame can cause the destruction of relationships, while making comparisons of contemporary times to the lynching of African Americans in the United States during the pre-civil rights era. West delivers his vocals through an Auto-Tune processor, like on his 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak. It contains samples of both singer Nina Simone's 1965 rendition of Billie Holiday's song "Strange Fruit", and "R U Ready" by the duo TNGHT, who co-produced the track.
