Ilamelmis brunnescens, is a species of riffle beetle that is found in Sri Lanka.^[1]^[2]

Description

The beetle is the most abundant species under its genus grouping. It lives under the surface of stones in the water current, under pebbles and upon rocks, and stones in the cascade.^[3]
