Release

On March 10, 2015, "Narrow Mouth" was premiered through Billboard 's website. [5] A music video was released for "Better This Way" on April 30. It was filmed during a show where the group had debuted the track. In April and May, the group went on a tour of the UK and Europe with support from You Blew It! and A Great Big Pile of Leaves. Imbue was released on May 12 through Rise Records. Following this, the group embarked on a US tour which lasted until June. They were supported by Lydia and Restorations. [6] On May 17, a music video was released for "Boxing Timelines". [7] In August and September, the group went on tour with Bayside and Better Off. [8] On June 14, 2016, a music video was released for "Narrow Mouth". [9]

Following the lack of promotion for their 2005 album, Based on a True Story, the band left Geffen Records in late 2005. Sessions for the album were recorded at several studios in California from February to May 2007 with producer Howard Benson. Breathe Carolina are an American electronic music duo from Denver, Colorado. The duo formed in 2007 consisting of David Schmitt and Kyle Even. They later expanded to a full band whose best-known lineup included Schmitt, Even, drummer Eric Armenta, keytarist Joshua Aragon and DJ Luis Bonet. In 2013, Even left the group, while Tommy Cooperman joined that year. Breathe Carolina is currently composed of Schmitt and Cooperman.
