Imhotep Institute Charter High School is a charter high school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1998 to offer an African-centered education that emphasizes STEM subjects. [2]

During the 2015–16 school year, the school reported an enrollment of 651 students, the most in the school's history. [3]

In 2017, Imhotep reported an average SAT score of 1031 out of 1600, which made it the 17th lowest-scoring Pennsylvania high school. [4]

He played high school football in Columbus, Ohio, at Grandview Heights High School, college football at the University of Notre Dame and was selected in the first round of the 1955 NFL draft. Guglielmi was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
