Incorruptible Heart is the second full-length album by the Los Angeles-based band Lavender Diamond, released in September 2012 as a vinyl LP, compact disc and digital download. It received generally favorable critical reviews.
The album was produced by Damian Kulash of the band OK Go, who also sang backing vocals on one song. [3] The vocalist Becky Stark gave her interpretation of the word "corruptible" as being made up of the French cœur ("heart") and rupture, in which case "Incorruptible Heart" would yield "non-heartbreak-able heart". (Fanciful as this is, the correct etymology has no relation to cœur.)
250 copies of the LP were pressed on lavender vinyl, with 50 copies packaged in a tote bag with an original drawing by the band's drummer and artist Ron Regé Jr.
Metacritic assigned the album a "generally favorable" aggregate score of 76%, based on eight reviews. [4] Giving the album three-and-a-half stars, The LA Times marvelled at Stark's ability to make an album in the thick of her other projects, remarking that when "results sparkle this brilliantly, the multi-tasking seems exceedingly worth it." [2] Pitchfork gave the album a 7 out 10, and said that Stark "is still preoccupied with love, but makes use of a brighter, sexier, spacier palette to explore a favored theme." [5] All Music gave the album 8 out of 10, saying that the band's "uniquely direct sound have been brought into higher definition," but brought "with it a refined sophistication absent on earlier work." The band released a video for the album's lead track, "Everybody's Heart's Breaking Now", on 25 September 2012. Directed by Maximilla Lukacs, it has multiple images of the singer Becky Stark falling and spinning through space.
Hella is an American math rock band from Sacramento, California. The primary members of the band are Spencer Seim on electric guitar and Zach Hill on drums. The band expanded their live band by adding Dan Elkan on vocals, rhythm guitar, sampler and synthesizer and Jonathan Hischke on synth bass guitar for their 2005 tour. In 2006 they reformed as a five-piece line-up including Seim, Hill, Carson McWhirter, Aaron Ross & Josh Hill. In 2009, the band was reduced back to core members Hill and Seim.

The Destroyed Room: B-sides and Rarities is a compilation album by Sonic Youth. This album contains tracks previously only available on vinyl, limited-release compilations, imports and B-sides to international singles. The tracks, which also include unreleased material, were hand-picked by the band. The album was released on December 12, 2006. A double vinyl LP edition with two extra tracks was released in early 2007 on the band's own Goofin' Records label. The cover image, as well as the album's name, is "The Destroyed Room", a 1978 photograph by Canadian artist Jeff Wall.

Through the Wilderness is a tribute album with contributions from a variety of artists dedicated to American singer Madonna. It was released on November 27, 2007, by Los Angeles-based Manimal Vinyl Records. According to label head Paul Beahan, the idea for the album was conceived by him in a dream. He enlisted multiple artists to work on the project, including Giant Drag, Lavender Diamond, Winter Flowers and Chapin Sisters. Although he's not a fan of Madonna, Beahan wanted to see how her songs would sound when covered by different musicians.
A Sunny Day in Glasgow are an American shoegazing band formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2006, the band initially had a rotating line-up, with Ben Daniels as the only constant member. Since 2010, the group has consisted of Ben Daniels, Josh Meakim, Annie Fredrickson, Ryan Newmyer, Adam Herndon, and Jen Goma.

According to the band, frontman Colin Meloy had set out to write a song with the album's title, which eventually developed into an entire album. Paracadute is an independent record company owned by rock band OK Go. OK Go left their previous record company, EMI, because of a disagreement between the band and the label. OK Go reissued their album, Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, with Paracadute taking care of the promotion and distribution of the album reissues. OK Go's lead singer, Damian Kulash, announced the new label in a video posted to the band's YouTube channel.

English Graffiti is the third studio album by English rock band The Vaccines. It was produced by Dave Fridmann, with co-production from Cole M. Greif-Neill at Fridmann's New York studio. The album was released on 25 May 2015 through Columbia Records and charted at #2 upon release. The album marked the band's first release in two years, following the Melody Calling EP, and their first full studio album release in three, following Come of Age in 2012. Young stated that Fridmann was chosen due to both his track record in making "consistently fantastic records". It is the last album recorded with drummer Pete Robertson, who left the band after completing their 2016 U.S. tour.
