Admission to the first year undergraduate classes is usually held after the publication of the result of the Higher Secondary Examination under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in the months of May and June every year, and is based on merit through open counseling and online counseling procedures. [3]

The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). [4]

Various cultural activities

Various cultural activities are held in the school throughout the year. Martyr's Day, Independence Day, is celebrated jointly by students and teachers with due dignity. Also various educational tours are organized every year. [5]
