Indy Barends (born 15 January 1972 in Bogor, West Java) is an Indonesian radio personality, television host, presenter, humorist and actress. She rose to popularity after hosting the talk show Ceriwis on Trans TV. [1] replacing Meuthia Kasim. She is one of the four jury members in Indonesian Idol 3, [2] replacing Meuthia Kasim.

Indonesian Idol is a reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by RCTI Production Team and FremantleMedia Asia. The show began airing on RCTI in March 2004 and became one of the most popular shows in the history of Indonesian television. Part of the Idol franchise, it was as a spin-off from the UK show Pop Idol.
Menteng is a district in the administrative city of Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport, is an international airport that serves the city of Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. The airport is often referred to as SSK II, SSK or Sultan Syarif Qasim II International Airport, and formerly known as Simpang Tiga Airport. The namesake of the airport is Sultan Syarif Kasim II (1893–1968), the last sultan of Siak and an Indonesian National Hero. The airport serves flights to and from several cities and towns in Indonesia and some countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Saudi Arabia.

Prostitution in Indonesia is legally considered a "crime against decency/morality", although it is widely practiced, tolerated and even regulated in some areas. Sri Mulyani Indrawati is an Indonesian economist who has been Minister of Finance of Indonesia since 2016; previously she served in the same post from 2005 to 2010. In June 2010 she was appointed as managing director of the World Bank Group and resigned as Minister of Finance. On 27 July 2016, Sri Mulyani was reappointed as Minister of Finance in a cabinet reshuffle by President Joko Widodo, replacing Bambang Brodjonegoro.
Indonesia's Got Talent is an Indonesian talent variety show on RCTI that began July 23, 2010. It is based on the Got Talent franchise, a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company. Indonesia Mencari Bakat, broadcast on Trans TV, was copied from the original Got Talent format. However, Indonesia Mencari Bakat was more successful than the original format in terms of TV ratings, especially in first and third season.
The third season of Indonesian Idol aired on April 21, 2006 and concluded on August 19, 2006. Indra Lesmana, Titi DJ and Dimas Djayadiningrat all returned as judges, and Indy Barends replaced Meuthia Kasim as the fourth judge. Indy was a former host of talk show Ceriwis. VJ MTV Daniel Mananta was introduced as the new host on Indonesian Idol replacing Irgi Fahrezi.
Terang Boelan is a 1937 film from the Dutch East Indies. Written by Saeroen, directed by Albert Balink, and starring Rd Mochtar, Roekiah and Eddie T. Effendi, Terang Boelan follows two lovers who elope after one is almost forced to marry an opium smuggler. The film was shot in the Indies and Singapore, and was partially inspired by the 1936 Hollywood film The Jungle Princess. It was aimed at native audiences and included keroncong music, which was popular at the time, and several actors from Balink's previous work Pareh (1936).
The second season of Indonesian Idol premiered on 25 March 2005 and continued until 13 August 2005. It was co-hosted by Amelia Natasha and Irgy Ahmad Fahrezi. Indra Lesmana, Titi DJ and Meuthia Kasim judged from audition round till spectacular show, while Yovie Widianto replaced Dimas Djayadiningrat in audition round till workshop round before being replaced again with Dimas Djayadiningrat. Mike Mohede won the season with Judika as the runner-up, Firman Siagian finishing third and Monita Tahalea finishing fourth. This was the first season to have a finale with two male contestants, with the third season being the second.
