Slank is an Indonesian rock band. It was founded in 1983 by teenagers in an alley street in Jakarta called Gang Potlot. The band is known for songs which are often accompanied with political and socially conscious lyrics. It continues to be active and has received many awards from the Indonesian music industry. Along with God Bless and Dewa 19, they are dubbed as one of the greatest rock bands in the history of Indonesian popular music.
Indonesian Idol is a reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by RCTI Production Team and FremantleMedia Asia, which began airing on RCTI in March 2004 and became one of the most popular shows in the history of Indonesian television. Part of the Idol franchise, it was as a spin-off from the UK show Pop Idol.
Kris Dayanti, often written mononymously as Krisdayanti, is an Indonesian singer and actress. She is the younger sister of Yuni Shara, another Indonesian singer. She is the daughter of Trenggono and Rachma Widadiningsih. At the age of 9, she sang a song for the movie Megaloman. On three years later, she released her first album, Biasa Saja, together with the soundtrack album for Catatan Si Emon. While still in high school, Yanti participated in numerous singing and modelling competitions. In 1991, she was a finalist in the GADIS Sampul competition.
Titi Dwi Jayati, popularly known as Titi DJ, is an Indonesian pop singer, songwriter, and talent show judge. She was a judge on Indonesian Idol from season 1 to 5 and season 8, Golden Memories Vol.1 and 2, Q Academy season 1, The Voice Indonesia season 3 and 4. She is known for the song "Sang Dewi". She was the first Indonesian female singer invited to perform a concert at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and the first Indonesian singer to make perform seven concerts in a four-day period. She was also the first female coach to win The Voice Indonesia in 2019. In the 80's she widely known with the song Ekspresi (Expression), the jazz fusion hit she collaborated with Indonesian musician Indra Lesmana in 1988. In the 1990s released the song Bahasa Kalbu. In the 2000s she released the songs Sang Dewi, Matamu, Separuh Hidupku, Hanya Cinta Yang Bisa. In early 2010s she released the song "Jangan Biarkan", covering Indonesian singer Diana Nasution. The television channel, RCTI, hosted "Jangan Biarkan Concert" with her album "Titi to Diana". In 2020s she released the song Show Off Your Colors, in collaboration with Eka Gustiwana and Sarah Fajira, and Ashanty. Her latest release was the song "To Lose" as an answer to a netizensl challenge, and she also released a ballad version called "Still Learning".
Jusuf Antono Djojo or Ian Antono, born Jauw Hian Ling, is an Indonesian guitarist and songwriter. He has collaborated with many other musicians, including Anggun, Iwan Fals, Nicky Astria, Doel Sumbang, Gito Rollies, Ebiet G Ade and Ikang Fawzi, he is best known as God Bless' lead guitarist since 1974. Other notable collaboration was Gong 2000, which was established in 1991 until 1996. Ian Antono was also recognized as one of the first rock guitarists in Indonesia. In 1999, Ian Antono was invited in a Formula-1 event, which was also a collaboration with G3 and rock legends, Jethro Tull.
Ir. James F. Sundah is an Indonesian songwriter, of Manadonese descent. He was born in Semarang on December 1, 1955. A prominent figure in the Indonesian music industry, Sundah is best known for his evergreen song "Lilin Lilin Kecil", sung by Chrisye. Which won the "Listeners' Favorite Choice" Award from the prominent Prambors Rasisonia Radio in Jakarta.

The seventh season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on February 17, 2012. The show aired every Friday at 8:00 pm and Re-run aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm. Daniel Mananta returned as the host, while Anang Hermansyah and Agnes Monica returned as the judges, and musician and hits-maker Ahmad Dhani replaced Erwin Gutawa as the third judges. Fabian Dharmawan became the new Executive Producer. Vokal Plus founder & CEO Indra Aziz, and Irvan Nat, both of them are professional vocal couches, became the new in-house mentors to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. Universal Music Indonesia replaced Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia as Idol's official partner record label. Cross Mobile, Coolant, Honda and Mie Sedaap, were the official sponsors of the show. This season followed the same format as American Idol season 11 and used the new title screen & logo with a different font started from Spectacular round.
Erwin Gutawa Sumapraja is an Indonesian composer. In 1985, he started his professional music career by joining the jazz band Karimata, later becoming an independent composer in 1991. As a composer, he won the 1992 Midnight Sun Song Festival in Finland together with Ruth Sahanaya. In 2001 he won the Anugerah Musik Indonesia award for best music arranger for his concert Rockestra.

Hajjah Hetty Koes Endang is an Indonesian kroncong singer. Her 1977 duet with Ajie Bandi, "Damai Tapi Gersang", was the first Indonesian song to win the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo. The song was selected by Rolling Stone Indonesia in 2009 as one of the best Indonesian songs of all time.
Rini Fatimah Zaelani, known professionally as Syahrini, is an Indonesian singer and actress. She spent her childhood in Sukabumi, and later earned a bachelor's degree in law from Pakuan University in Bogor. Her first album was My Lovely, released in 2008. Also in her discography is the song "Tatapan Cinta," which appeared on the compilation soundtrack album of the film Coklat Stroberi.
The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams, premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5. Indra replaced Tantri during the Top 8 performances. Daniel Mananta returns as the host.

Tiara Anugrah Eka Setyo Andini is an Indonesian singer and actress. She was the runner-up of the tenth season of Indonesian Idol which was broadcast by RCTI in 2019–2020. In Idol, she was known as the girl who received a titanium ticket from one of the judges. She is the only titanium ticket recipient to ever make it through to the final round in the history of Indonesian Idol. She was awarded the "Best Newcomer" from 23rd Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards, and "Best New Asian Artist Indonesia" from 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards. She also won the SCTV Music Awards for two consecutive years as "Most Popular Female Singer" in 2022 and 2023. She was nominated for the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards as Best Asia act.

Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, commonly referred to as Esti, is an Indonesian politician who is currently serving as a member of the People's Representative Council from the East Java X constituency which includes the Gresik and Lamongan Regencies since 2019. A member of the Golkar party, she is also serving as the Deputy General Treasurer of Golkar and as a member of the Commission VII of the People's Representative Council, with scope of duties in the fields of Energy, Research and Technology, and the Environment. She is the child of former member of the People's Representative Council Satya Widya Yudha.
Arif Wibowo is an Indonesian politician, who is currently serving as a member of the People's Representative Council since 2009, representing the East Java IV constituency as a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle. He is assigned to the Second Commission which handles local government matters in Indonesia, including regional autonomy, the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, the National Land Agency and the General Elections Commission. He was also known as a leader in the Indonesian National Student Movement at the University of Jember.
