Anang Hermansyah (born 18 March 1969) is an Indonesian singer, musician, producer and politician, who served as a member of the People's Representative Council from the East Java IV constituency as from 2014 until 2019.[ citation needed ] Since 2007, anang has been one of the judges for the singing talent contest Indonesian Idol.

Early life and education

Anang attended elementary school in SD Jember Kidul in 1977, and entered middle school in SMP Negeri 1 Jember in 1983. He would go to SMA Negeri 4 Surabaya for highschool in 1986. [1]

Musical career

Anang has joined a band since high school in Jember, East Java. However, he only got serious about music when he was studying at the Islamic University of Bandung by joining Doel Sumbang's studio. Around this time, Anang made a musical recording with Doel Sumbang, although it was not published.

Joined the band Kidnap Katrina:[4] In 1989, Anang decided to move to Jakarta and became acquainted with Pay Siburian, a BIP guitarist who was still playing for Slank. Through Pay, Anang also joined the Gang Potlot social circle and later strengthened the Kidnap Katrina group founded by Massto[5] (Bimbim Slank's sister[6]) and Koko (sister of Kaka Slank[7]). Together with Kidnap Katrina, Anang released a self-titled album[8] with his hits entitled "Biru"[9] in 1993.

Going solo: After leaving Kidnap Katrina, Anang decided to go solo and released albums, including Letlah, Lepas and Melayang. After he divorced Krisdayanti, he released his album Half My Soul Go. He also duets with Syahrini in the song Don't Choose Me. This song managed to score a huge success. He then also sang a second duet, entitled The Last Love with Syahrini.

In 2011, he ended his duet with Syahrini and took Ashanty as his new duet partner. Their relationship progressed from being just a duet of friends into lovers and eventually getting married. The couple Anang and Ashanty released an album entitled My Soulmate and gave birth to 2 hits, Determining My Heart and My Soulmate.

Apart from singing success, Anang is also a songwriter, arranger and producer for several singers, Not only in the world of singing, Anang has also spread his wings in the world of acting by producing a film entitled "The Difficulty of Being a Virgin". This film is supported by Restu Sinaga, Nova Eliza, Al Fathir Muchtar, Olga Syahputra, Tio Pakusadewo, Julia Perez.

Anang married Krisdayanti on August 22, 1996, together they have 2 children : Titania Aurelie Hermansyah and Azriel Akbar Hermansyah. However, their marriage has often been hit by gossip. In 2009, the couple divorced religiously in August, then legally divorced in November. Anang remarried to Ashanty, proposing to her on February 25, 2012. [2] Together, Anang and Ashanty have 2 children : Arsy and Arsya. [3]

Jusuf Antono Djojo or Ian Antono, born Jauw Hian Ling, is an Indonesian guitarist and songwriter. He has collaborated with many other musicians, including Anggun, Iwan Fals, Nicky Astria, Doel Sumbang, Gito Rollies, Ebiet G Ade and Ikang Fawzi, he is best known as God Bless' lead guitarist since 1974. Other notable collaboration was Gong 2000, which was established in 1991 until 1996. Ian Antono was also recognized as one of the first rock guitarists in Indonesia. In 1999, Ian Antono was invited in a Formula-1 event, which was also a collaboration with G3 and rock legends, Jethro Tull.

Ir. James F. Sundah is an Indonesian songwriter, of Manadonese descent. He was born in Semarang on December 1, 1955. A prominent figure in the Indonesian music industry, Sundah is best known for his evergreen song "Lilin Lilin Kecil", sung by Chrisye. Which won the "Listeners' Favorite Choice" Award from the prominent Prambors Rasisonia Radio in Jakarta.

The seventh season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on February 17, 2012. The show aired every Friday at 8:00 pm and Re-run aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm. Daniel Mananta returned as the host, while Anang Hermansyah and Agnes Monica returned as the judges, and musician and hits-maker Ahmad Dhani replaced Erwin Gutawa as the third judges. Fabian Dharmawan became the new Executive Producer. Vokal Plus founder & CEO Indra Aziz, and Irvan Nat, both of them are professional vocal couches, became the new in-house mentors to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. Universal Music Indonesia replaced Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia as Idol's official partner record label. Cross Mobile, Coolant, Honda and Mie Sedaap, were the official sponsors of the show. This season followed the same format as American Idol season 11 and used the new title screen & logo with a different font started from Spectacular round.

Erwin Gutawa Sumapraja is an Indonesian composer. In 1985, he started his professional music career by joining the jazz band Karimata, later becoming an independent composer in 1991. The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams, premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5. Indra replaced Tantri during the Top 8 performances. Daniel Mananta returns as the host.

Arif Wibowo is an Indonesian politician, who is currently serving as a member of the People's Representative Council since 2009, representing the East Java IV constituency as a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle. He is assigned to the Second Commission which handles local government matters in Indonesia, including regional autonomy, the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, the National Land Agency and the General Elections Commission. He was also known as a leader in the Indonesian National Student Movement at the University of Jember.
