Infinite Moment is the sixth studio album by the Swedish electronic music producer and DJ Axel Willner, under his nickname, The Field. It was released on 21 September 2018 by Kompakt. [8]
On 25 July 2018, Willner announced the release [8] and, in a press release, explained the album. "Hope is something I've been missing in the nowadays climate and this album is a relief to me, a type of comfort, like a moment that feels good and you don't want to end." [9]
The first track to be released, "Who Goes There", was announced on 14 August 2018. [10]
In support of the album, Willner announced a North American tour of six dates for October 2018. [10]
Infinite Moment was met with "generally favorable" reviews from critics. At Metacritic , which assigns a weighted average rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, the album received an average score of 80 based on 10 reviews. [3] Aggregator Album of the Year gave the release 77 out of 100 based on a critical consensus of 10 reviews. [1]
Fred Thomas of AllMusic explained, "With one eight-minute exception, the six tracks here stretch out past the ten-minute mark, building so incrementally that their subtle drifting takes on an almost ambient quality. The perpetually unraveling nature of Infinite Moment results in a perfectly paced listening experience that's almost impossible not to get lost in." [2] Daniel Sylvester from Exclaim! gave a rave review for the release, writing, "On Infinite Moment, the Field proves that he's such a master of his craft that he can generate the same excitement from briefly moving outside the box as he can revelling back inside it." [4]

Looping State of Mind is the third studio album by Swedish electronic music producer Axel Willner under his alias the Field and released digitally on 5 September 2011 by Kompakt. The production stemmed from the use of guest musicians for Willner's previous album as the Field, Yesterday and Today (2009), and his use of live instrumentation in a music tour. The songs in Looping State of Mind were produced at Dumbo Studios, Cologne, where live instrumentation, performed by Dan Enquvist and Jesper Skarin, were added to demos composed by Willner. It is an ambient and minimal techno album that develops upon the Field's previously established music style. Each song is formed by musical loops that are layered and evolve over time, creating immersive and intricate songs.
Cupid's Head is the fourth studio album by Swedish electronic music producer Axel Willner under his alias The Field. It was released by Kompakt on 30 September 2013.
The Powers That B is the fourth studio album, and first double album, by experimental hip hop group Death Grips. The album's first disc, Niggas on the Moon, was released as a free digital download on June 8, 2014. The first disc's instrumentation was performed entirely on a Roland V-Drum kit by drummer Zach Hill and features chopped vocal samples of Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk on every track. The second half, Jenny Death, leaked online on March 19, 2015. It features Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos, and Zach's former Legs on Earth band mate, Julian Imsdahl, on guitar and organ respectively.
