Inga Bejer Engh (born 31 December 1970) is a Norwegian jurist,former prosecutor,and present Children's ombudsman. Together with Svein Holden she prosecuted terror suspect Anders Behring Breivik in the 2012 trial following the 2011 Norway attacks. [1]
Engh is educated Candidate of Law. Following law school she worked with international law for the United Nations in New York City. Upon return to Norway her first job was at Drammen District Court later Oslo District Court and Asker and Bærum Police District. At 32 she began working as a prosecutor. [2] She has prosecuted several major criminal cases including the much publicized methanol distribution case in Østfold in the early 2000s,a case where a man received ten years prison after having thrown acid on his wife,several major drugs and sexual abuse cases. She also prosecuted Tore W. Tvedt,one of the witnesses in the Breivik case,in 2002. [3]
When Edward Snowden was awarded the Ossietzky Prize for 2016,but had no guarantees against being extradited to the United States if he traveled to Norway to receive it,the case came up in Oslo District Court in the form of a private lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice. On June 27,2016,Engh dismissed the case and also ordered Snowden to pay the state's legal costs of NOK 7,000. [4] [5]
In 2018,Engh was appointed the Children's Ombudsman of Norway for a period of six years, [6] succeeding Anne Lindboe.
Inga Bejer Engh is married and has two young boys. The youngest was born in 2009 and was very premature but has sustained no lasting medical problems. Her decision to become a lawyer was made in the gymnasium (Norwegian equivalent to high school,now called videregående). [2]

The Airport Express Train is a Norwegian high-speed airport railway service connecting Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station in nineteen minutes. Run by Flytoget AS,it operates on the high-speed Gardermoen Line using sixteen GMB Class 71 electric trains. Normal service frequency is once every ten minutes,with five of the services each hour continuing westwards beyond Oslo Central. The Workers' Youth League affair was a political affair,where leaders of the Workers' Youth League (AUF) were charged with deliberately inflating membership numbers to receive increased government funding. Two former treasurers and two former leaders of the Oslo chapter were found guilty of fraud,and given prison sentences,for having unlawfully received 648,000 kr in grants from the City of Oslo between 1992 and 1994. The convicted were Ragnar Bøe Elgsaas,Anders Hornslien,Bjørn Jarle Rødberg Larsen and Anders Greif Mathisen. Anders Mathisen's sentence was suspended.
Erik Andersen,also referred to in the media as The Pocket Man,is a convicted Norwegian child molester from Bergen. He was arrested in 2008,accused of molesting hundreds of children since 1976,and in 2010,he was convicted and sentenced to preventive detention with a minimum term of 9 years,with the possibility of extension for as long as he is deemed a danger to society. He was released in November 2014.

The Baneheia murders was a double rape and murder that occurred in Norway on 19 May 2000. The victims were two girls,10-year-old Lena Sløgedal Paulsen and 8-year-old Stine Sofie Austegard Sørstrønen. They were found raped and killed in the Baneheia area in Kristiansand. The murders received massive media attention in Norway in the early 2000s.
On 29 December 2008,violent riots first broke out in Oslo,Norway amid protests against the Gaza War,starting outside the Israeli embassy. Riots broke out again following a protest on 4 January 2009,while the most violent and destructive riots took place on 8 and 10 January when riots spread throughout the city with widespread destruction of private and public property,clashes between rioters and police with several injuries,as well as attacks on civilians,including individuals targeted due to being thought by rioters to be Jews. Around 200 people were arrested in total,mainly Muslim youth,supported by left-wing autonomous Blitz activists.
Kaja Bordevich Ballo was a Norwegian university student who took her own life in Nice,France,on March 28,2008,shortly after taking an Oxford Capacity Analysis (OCA),a personality test administered by the Church of Scientology,earlier the same day. Family and friends state that Ballo was happy prior to taking the OCA,and that her mood dramatically shifted after receiving the results;she jumped from the fourth floor of her dorm room hours later. In addition to a suicide note,Ballo's family found the OCA among her belongings. French police investigated connections between Scientology and Ballo's death,and interviewed two leaders of the Church of Scientology in France;prosecutors stated in December 2008 that they were unable to establish a causative link.

Fjotolf Hansen,better known by his birth name Anders Behring Breivik and by his pseudonym Andrew Berwick,is a Norwegian far-right domestic terrorist,known for committing the 2011 Norway attacks on 22 July 2011. On that day,he killed eight people by detonating a van bomb at Regjeringskvartalet in Oslo,then killed 69 participants of a Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp in a mass shooting on the island of Utøya.

Sveinung Stensland is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. A deputy to the Storting from Rogaland from 2013,he met as deputy for Bent Høie during the 2013–2017 Storting period. He was elected as an ordinary member of the Storting from 2017,and was re-elected in 2021.
Geir Eriksen,former names Geir Selvik and Geir Selvik Malthe-Sørenssen,is a Norwegian con artist and convicted felon. He formerly worked as a private investigator for criminal clients,and became known for fabricating material in the Arne Treholt case;it was subsequently revealed that he had engaged in similar fraud in a large number of other cases. He was charged with aggravated fraud and forgery;he pled guilty to all charges and in 2018 was sentenced to three years in prison and to pay 7 million kr in restitution. As of 2021 Malthe-Sørenssen was an inmate at Romerike Prison. He has changed his names several times,but is best known under the name Geir Selvik Malthe-Sørenssen,his legal name from 2010 to 2017. In 2021 his former wife Ida Marie Hansen published the book Jeg var gift med en bedrager about the Malthe-Sørenssen case.

On 4 June 1997,a bomb exploded outside the headquarters of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club chapter in Drammen,Norway,killing a passerby and injuring twenty-two others. Seven men associated with the rival Hells Angels Motorcycle Club were convicted of carrying out the attack.
