Intermission I & II is a double extended play (EP) by American singer Trey Songz, released on May 18, 2015 [1] [2] in the United States.
While Songz was serving as a supporting guest on the European leg of The Pinkprint Tour with Nicki Minaj, in support of his last album Trigga (2014), [3] along with Chris Brown and Tyga was doing sold-out shows on the Between The Sheets Tour. [4] He released the EP as a surprise to keep his fans from waiting for new material until Trigga: Reloaded and Tremaine are released later in 2015. [5] The second part was released in May, which added six more tracks to the EP, the whole thing was dropped on iTunes. [2]

Tremaine Aldon Neverson, better known as Trey Songz, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor. His debut album, I Gotta Make It, was released in 2005 through Atlantic Records. His follow-up album, Trey Day, spawned his first top 20 single, "Can't Help but Wait". Songz released his third album Ready in 2009 and a single from the album, "Say Aah", peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it Songz's first top 10 hit. Ready was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 2008 Grammy Awards. The following year saw Songz's highest charting song to date, "Bottoms Up" featuring rapper Nicki Minaj from his fourth studio album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure.
Christopher Maurice Brown is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows from a young age. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is the older sister of R&B singer Jhéne Aiko and is known for being in Prince's video for "Diamonds and Pearls" and appearing on tracks by RaRa, IMx, Trey Songz and Omarion. She released several singles in 2006–2009 under the name "Mila J" and then went on a hiatus for a number of years after the shelving of her original debut studio album, Split Personality, before returning as "Japallonia" in 2012 and then reverting to Mila J a year later.

The Between The Sheets Tour was a co-headlining concert tour by American recording artists Chris Brown and Trey Songz, along with rapper Tyga supporting, in support of their sixth studio albums X and Trigga, respectively. The tour began on January 27, 2015 in Hampton, Virginia and ended on March 18, 2015 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The EP features guest appearances by B.o.B, with the production, which was provided by DJ Mustard, among others. Released eleven months after the original, Trigga Reloaded features four newly recorded songs. Songz announced its reissue on an Instagram post with the album's original release date.
