International Indian School, Al-Jubail (IISJ ), formerly known as the Embassy of India School, is an Indian international school in Al-Jubail. It was established on 30 November 1987. Having all classes from LKG to 12th, it is the largest Indian School in Jubail. The school, previously Porta-cabins, now consists of four buildings equipped with modern facilities. An additional building was rented to hold the rising number of pupils in the Junior Primary Section from the schooling year 2008–2009 with a silver jubilee compound building made for the girls in the school, marking the school's silver jubilee.

Kathmandu University (KU) is a public autonomous university in Nepal. It is the third oldest university in Nepal, located in Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchok District, about 30km east of Kathmandu. Ras Tanura is a city in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia located on a peninsula extending into the Persian Gulf. Jubilee Gardens is a public park on the South Bank in the London Borough of Lambeth. Created in 1977 to mark the Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II, the site was formerly used for the Dome of Discovery and the adjacent Skylon during the Festival of Britain in 1951. A multimillion-pound redevelopment of the park was completed in May 2012, just before the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II and the 2012 Summer Olympics, in order to transform it from a state of grassland to a mature looking park with trees and hills. The Jubail International School, also known as Yandhi is a member of the Al-Hussan network of schools, including its sister school Al-Hussan Academy in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. It opened in September 1999 and has KGI to grade 12 with students representing around 18 nationalities. The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education, General Administration, approves the school for expatriate education. The language of instruction is English.
Highway 613, popularly known as the Dhahran–Jubail Expressway and the Khobar–Dammam–Dhahran Expressway, is a major north-south controlled-access secondary highway in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, spanning 196 kilometers. It connects the Dammam metropolitan area to the industrial area of Ra's al-Khair, running in the north-south direction for its entire length from Khobar in the south to the Ra's al-Khair north of Jubail, while providing access to Saihat, Qatif and Jubail along its length.

Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in Saudi Arabia are the largest community of expatriates in the country, most of them coming from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and most recently, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Indians as migrant workers first began to arrive in modern-day Saudi Arabia in relatively small number from the British Raj soon after the discovery of oil in 1938, but had their migration skyrocketed exponentially after the 1973 energy crisis and subsequent oil boom. However, migration to Saudi Arabia dropped dramatically after reaching its peak in 2014 due to the introduction of Nitaqat scheme in 2011, acceleration of 2010s oil glut by early 2016 and the launch of Saudi Vision 2030.
