the International Securities Services Association (ISSA) is an international trade association that brings together organizations that participate in the securities services sector, especially central securities depositories and custodian banks as well as technology firms and other service providers. [1]

ISSA was founded in 1988 in Zurich, Switzerland. [2]

Leadership

In late April and early May 2025, ISSA successively announced the appointment of Julia McKenny as its CEO, [4] and of Margaret Harwood-Jones as its chair. [5] McKenny replaced Colin Parry, who had been ISSA CEO since 2019. [6]
