Irradiant is the third album by the French technical death metal band Scarve. This is the last album to feature Guillaume Bideau's vocals as he joined the Danish industrial metal band Mnemic in October 2006. [4] The digipak version of the album includes two live bonus tracks "Heaven-Sent" and "Luminiferous", two video clips; "Mirthless Perspectives" and "Emulate the Soul" as well as an extended CD-ROM feature.

Contents

Fredrik Thordendal of Meshuggah contributed a guitar solo on the song "Asphyxiate", while Gustaf Jorde of Defleshed contributed extra vocals to the song "Molten Scars".

"Mirthless Perspectives" and "Emulate the Soul" were made as music videos.

"Irradiant" was released as a single.

Contradictions Collapse was originally titled (All This Because of) Greed. The album leans more towards a thrash metal and alternative metal sound than the band's later works, featuring heavy riffs and influences of hip hop and industrial dance in the drum patterns. Meshuggah, also known as Psykisk Testbild is the debut EP by Swedish extreme metal band Meshuggah. The three tracks on this EP were later reissued on the compilation Rare Trax. It was released as a 12" vinyl record, limited to 1000 copies, by local record store Garageland in Umeå. This is the only Meshuggah record featuring drummer Niclas Lundgren. All of the songs, except for the live recording of "Future Breed Machine", were featured on the "Reloaded" re-release of Chaosphere.
