The 1904 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, from 29 August to 3 September 1904, as part of an extended sports program lasting from 1 July to 23 November 1904, located at what is now known as Francis Olympic Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. The 1904 Summer Olympics were the first time the Olympic Games were held outside Europe.

Between 1971 and 1979 he collected 12 medals at the world and European championships, including five gold medals. His twin brother Józef was also an Olympic Greco-Roman wrestler.
Jacob Alexander "Lecky" Haller is an American slalom canoeist who competed from the early 1980s to the early 2000s. He won four medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold, two silvers and a bronze.
Pedro Isaac Muléns Herrera is a male wrestler from Cuba. He competed in the men's -66 kg Greco-Roman division and represented Cuba at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In the men's Greco-Roman 66 kg event, Muléns was knocked out by eventual champion Kim Hyeon-woo in the main draw, before losing a bronze medal match to Steeve Guénot in the repechage.
Jacob Stephen "Jake" Varner is an American wrestler. Varner won the gold medal in the 96 kg category at the 2012 Summer Olympics in freestyle wrestling.

Nicolaas "Nico" Jacobs is a retired amateur Namibian freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's heavyweight category. Jacobs had claimed a bronze medal in the 96-kg division at the 2003 All-Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria, and later became the first Namibian wrestler in history to compete at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A graduate at the University of Calgary in Canada, Jacobs trained for the university's wrestling team under his head coach Leigh Vierling.
Rustam Aghayev is a retired amateur Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's heavyweight category. He won a bronze medal in the 96-kg division at the 2004 European Wrestling Championships in Ankara, Turkey, and then represented his nation Azerbaijan at the Summer Olympics a few months later. Throughout his sporting career, Aghayev trained for Neftçi Sports Club in Baku, under his personal coach and mentor Dyevanshir Kurbanov.
Jacob Simonis was a Dutch wrestler. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman heavyweight at the 1928 Summer Olympics.
Jacob van Moppes was a Dutch wrestler. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman lightweight at the 1908 Summer Olympics. He was killed in the Sobibor extermination camp during World War II.
