The Islamabad Literature Festival (ILF) is an international literary festival held annually in Islamabad, Pakistan.
ILF was established in 2013. It features prominent literary figures, guest speakers and attendees including writers, poets, scholars and academics from all over Pakistan, as well as internationally. The event incorporates reading and literary debate sessions, lectures, poetry reading, plays, art fairs and book launches. Like the Karachi Literature Festival, ILF is also organised and produced by the Oxford University Press Pakistan.
The first ILF was held on April 30 and 31, 2013. The second edition was held from 25 to 28 April 2014. [1] The third edition was held from April 24 to 26, 2015.

Lit for Life is an annual literary festival organised by the English daily The Hindu in Chennai, India. The festival was inaugurated in 2010, where it was part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Hindu's Literary Review. In 2011 the Lit for Life became an independent one-day event. In 2020, the festival, that always takes place in mid-January, will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Nighat Chaudhry is born on 24 February, in Lahore, Pakistan and moved to London when she was one year old. She is a trained Sufi & Mystique Kathak classical dancer. She started her journey from London and has been active as a professional Kathak dancer for over three decades. She studied ballet and contemporary dance. She met Nahid Siddiqui at age of fourteen, regarded as one of the greatest Kathak dancers and trained under her guidance. Inspired to learn the classical forms of her own culture, she abandoned ballet and join to understand and absorb the nuances of the style. This required her to be closer to its origins and she moved back to Pakistan.
