Early life and education

Iswarya Menon's family hails from Chendamangalam, Kerala, she was born and brought up in Erode, Tamil Nadu. She did her schooling in Erode. She did her higher secondary education at Vellalar Matriculation School, Erode. [4] She completed her Instrumentation engineering from SRM Institute of Science and technology. [5] She was selected for Tata Consultancy Services.

Career

Iswarya Menon was first seen in the Tamil comedy film Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru and its Telugu version Something Something . [6] She debuted as Akshara in the Kannada industry with Dasavala which was directed by M S Ramesh. She was cast opposite Prem, of Jogi fame. [7] The film released on October 11, 2013 and her performance as a mentally challenged girl was generally well received. [8] [9] [10] [11] Iswarya's next release was Tamil film Apple Penne. [12] The film was based on a mother and daughter relationship, where Iswarya was the daughter, while Roja essayed the role of her mother. [13] [14] She will next be seen in the Kannada horror comedy Namo Boothatma . [15] [16] [17]

<i>Dasavala</i> 2013 Indian film

Dasavala is a 2013 Kannada drama film starring Prem and Iswarya Menon. The film is directed by M. S. Ramesh, and also stars Hema Choudhary, Rangayana Raghu and Avinash. Dasavala was released on 11 October 2013. Anitha Bhat featured in an item song in Dasavala. The storyline of the movie was similar to two more Kannada movies – Director's Special and Karodpathi. It was also reported that the concept of all these films could be traced back to the 1996 Spanish film Familia in which a lonely rich man hires actors to act as his family members on his birthday.

Namo Bhootatma is a 2014 Indian Kannada horror comedy film directed by Murali in his debut. The film was a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Yaamirukka Bayamey, which itself was based on the Korean movie The Quiet Family. It stars Komal Kumar, Iswarya Menon, Anaswara Kumar, Gayathri Iyer, and Harish Raj in the lead roles. Telugu comedian Ali made his second Kannada movie with this film. It's also dubbed in Hindi with the same name. A sequel Namo Bhoothathma 2 released in 2023.

Anushka Shetty is an Indian actress who appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her acting debut in Puri Jagannadh's 2005 Telugu film Super, and appeared in Mahanandi, released later the same year. The following year, she had four releases, the first being S. S. Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu, which helped her gain recognition, followed by Astram, the Sundar C.-directed Rendu,, and a special appearance in AR Murugadoss' Telugu film Stalin.
