Ivo Jankoski (born June 14, 1955) is a producer, fine arts manager, publisher and promoter who established the first Macedonian independent record label, Treto Uvo ("Third Ear Music"). Jankoski's career has spanned 20 years.
Jankoski graduated from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje in 1980, receiving a degree in economics. He subsequently established the first Macedonian independent record label, Treto Uvo ("Third Ear Music"). [1] Following a series of positions in different commercial companies, Jankoski began management of major Macedonian artists in 1990. Bands and artists that were members of Jankovski's management roster included Leb i Sol, Vlatko Stefanovski, Anastasia, Kiril Dzajkovski and Vanja Lazarova. The artists that Jankoski managed were from a range of genres, including rock, pop and world music, and he also published their records and organized worldwide tours. Treto Uvo released the first Macedonian CD for the domestic music market.
In February 2012, Jankoski received an award for his publishing enterprise at the world's largest music trade fair, MIDEM, held in Cannes, France. [2]
As of February 2012, Jankoski is an active member of the Macedonian Ministry of Culture's committee on music piracy [3]
Jankoski is also a tour promoter of Macedonian Opera and Ballet, for both domestic and international performances. [4]
Together with UNICEF, Jankoski has launched several humanitarian projects for children in need, including The Victims of Tsunami and Reconstruction of the burned Saint Jovan Bigorski Monastery.[ citation needed ]
In 2001, Ivo Jankoski started Balkan Music Square Festival (Балкански Музички Плоштад) in Ohrid, Macedonia. The festival has run in August for over ten years. The Festival traditionally brings together a few thousand people.

In 2009, Ivo Jankoski published Amazing Macedonia [5] about Macedonian cultural heritage and natural beauties. Amazing Macedonia is an audio visual project (book and 40 minute video in DVD format) it contains over 600 photographs and over 100 natural sounds from Macedonia. The content of this project presents the most important and most visited places in Macedonia combining historical artifacts, archaeological, touristic etc.
The film took part in the official competition of the 47th Festival of Touristic Films [6] in Lecce, Italy. It won a special award for cultural, historical and ambient presentation of Macedonia.
In September, 2011 the project won the Golden Interstas award [7] from the European Federation of Touristic journalists based in Rome, Italy.
The film had a nomination for the Grand Prix award at the International TourFilm Festival in Split, Croatia, and was awarded with a special prize from the festival.
Ivo jankoski's experience in handling stars such as Leb i Sol, Vlatko Stefanovski, Anastasia, Kiril Dzajkovski etc. also provided him with an excellent grounding in managing the TV project “Play- search for the new Star together with the famous balkan composer and producer Darko Dimitrov. They together started M2 Produkcija (Professional Record Label) [8] [9] and within the next ten years they discovered many new talent. They both produced Elena Risteska, Tuna and Lambe Alabakovski, who are famous music stars in Macedonia.
The Macedonian music refers to all forms of music associated with ethnic Macedonians. It share similarities with the music of neighbouring Balkan countries, yet it remains overall distinctive in its rhythm and sound.
Saša Lošić "Loša" is a Bosnian recording artist. He initially rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the Bosnian-based music act Plavi orkestar, which is one of the most popular music bands of the former Yugoslav Pop and Rock scene.

Kiril Džajkovski (Djaikovski), – often credited as simply Kiril – is an internationally acclaimed Macedonian electronic musician and music composer. He is one of the most respected electronic artists from the Eastern European region and one of the pioneer producers to introduce Balkan ethnic sounds to the modern electronic music production. Kiril is also an accomplished composer of film and theatre music.
Elena Risteska, sometimes known as simply Elena, is a Macedonian singer. She represented Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens with the song "Ninanajna", and finished in 12th place; this was the highest ever finish for the country until Risteska's record was beaten in 2019.
Esma Redžepova-Teodosievska was a Macedonian Romani vocalist, songwriter and humanitarian. She was nicknamed "the Queen of the Gypsies" per her contribution to Romani culture and music.

Theodosii Spassov is a Bulgarian Folklore and jazz musician who plays kaval. Theodosii Spassov began his early training on the kaval at the Kotel Music School and The Academy of Music and Dance in Plovdiv/Bulgaria. The kaval, an eight-hole wooden "shepherd" flute, is one of the oldest Instruments in Europe, rich in tone and technical possibilities. Theodosii Spassov has developed his own unique style of playing the instrument by synthesizing traditional folklore with jazz, fusion and classical music.
The 1963 Skopje earthquake was a 6.1 moment magnitude earthquake which occurred in Skopje, SR Macedonia, then part of the SFR Yugoslavia, on July 26, 1963, which killed over 1,070 people, injured between 3,000 and 4,000 and left more than 200,000 people homeless. About 80 percent of the city was destroyed.
Darko Dimitrov is a Macedonian songwriter, record producer, arranger and record executive. Highly acclaimed for revitalising the Yugoslav mainstream pop music scene, which also influenced the surrounding Balkan countries, he has received international recognition for working with many popular foreign artists.

Demofest is an annual music festival held at the Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka, the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 2008 with the aim to provide young unsigned bands with an opportunity to develop and revive the rock scene of former Yugoslavia. Today, it is the biggest festival of unsigned bands in Southeastern Europe and one of the biggest festivals in this region.
Foltin is a Macedonian band active since 1995. Their name comes from Karel Čapek's last novel Life and Work of the Composer Foltýn.
Macedonia Timeless is a series of promotional tourist videos about the Republic of North Macedonia. The videos showcase scenery from the Balkan country and its culture to a foreign audience. Each video of the project is the work of a private production company, carried out on behalf of the government of North Macedonia, which officially funds the effort. The purpose of the project as it is defined is "to promote awareness of Macedonian tourism opportunities".
Verka is a music group from Delčevo, Republic of Macedonia. They play metal combined with elements of traditional Macedonian music, including folk instruments such as folk drum, kettle drum, bagpipes, clarinet and bendir. The members of the band are Vlatko Nushev (Dalton) on drums, Mars Marsovski on guitar, Mazdrak on bass guitar and vocals, and Hiko on folk and kettle drums.
Pece Trajkovski – Brada is a Macedonian musician. He is the lead accordion / guitar / synth player and co-author of the band Foltin since 1999. As a Foltin member, so far, Brada worked on 8 studio albums, music for over 20 theater pieces, several film scores and plenty of live performances on festivals, events, clubs etc.
Kao kakao is ninth album of Macedonian rock group Leb i sol. It contains 9 songs. Biggest hits from this album are Mamurni ljudi, Čuvam noć od budnih, Čekam kišu … It was released in 1987 by Jugoton. The album was accompanied by videos for the Mamurni ljudi and Skopje.
