Ja'Quinden Jackson (born September 12, 2001) [1] is an American football running back for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He previously played for the Texas Longhorns and the Utah Utes.
Jackson attended Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas. He played quarterback in high school. He committed to the University of Texas at Austin to play college football. [2]
Jackson spent 2020 at Texas but did not play in any games. After the season, he entered the transfer portal and transferred to the University of Utah. [3] [4] [5] In his first year at Utah, he played in three games as a backup to Cameron Rising, and had six rushes for 30 yards and a touchdown. In 2022, Jackson moved to running back. [6] [7] He finished the year with 531 yards on 78 carries with nine touchdowns. [8] [9] He took over as the starting running back in 2023.
On December 27, 2023, Jackson announced that he would enter the transfer portal for the second time. [10] On January 5, 2024, he announced that he would be transferring to Arkansas. [11]

The 2007 Utah Utes football team represented the University of Utah in the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by third-year head football coach Kyle Whittingham. The Utes played their homes games in Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The 1964 Arkansas Razorbacks football team was an American football team that represented the University of Arkansas in the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1964 NCAA University Division football season. In their seventh year under head coach Frank Broyles, the Razorbacks compiled an undefeated 11–0 record, won the SWC championship, closed the regular season with five consecutive shutouts, outscored all opponents by a combined total of 231 to 64, and defeated Nebraska 10–7 in the Cotton Bowl.
Robert Brewer is a former American football player. He played quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns during the 1981 and 1982 season. He is the last walk-on quarterback to start for Texas and the last to start in the Cotton Bowl. His most memorable moment was the late touchdown he scored against Alabama to guide Texas to a 1982 Cotton Bowl Classic win. He is also the younger member of the only father-son combination to start at quarterback for Texas. Both father and son led Longhorn teams to victory over Bear Bryant coached teams.
